  Clyde was very nice and conscientious of our home. He did an excellent job explaining the findings of the chimney cleaning and inspection. He provided pictures of the inspection which was very helpful as well. He cleaned up after himself nicely and made quick work of the inspection and cleaning. He is very knowledgeable and I trust he knows the business.

  Brandon was awesome - showed up at the beginning of our appointment window, was great working around our dogs, and gave honest and thorough information so I could make an informed choice. I spent more than I intended only because I had enough information to decide to pull the trigger on a replacement now, rather than pay more in the long run because of having to do it later. As a someone who likes all the cards on the table so I can make an informed decision: this won my business for the lifetime of our fireplace needs. He also walked through all information I needed with my new fireplace insert, installed the fireglass I’d ordered and wanted in my fireplace, and ensured I knew what to expect when breaking in my fireplace insert lastly, gave me tips on how to use it in a number of instances so I would feel prepared. 10/10 recommend!!

  Very easy to communicate with, they keep you informed when the technician is on the way and for safety, they send a photo of the person coming. We had our gas fireplace inspected and Brandon cleaned the logs, the fireplace, did a thorough inspection, and got the fireplace running!

  I recently had Ashbusters Chimney Service come out for an estimate. Clyde was very helpful to provide me with the information and explain the estimate provided. In the future I will definitely be using this service when we are ready to do so, and I most certainly will refer anyone I know to this company that is ever in need of chimney services. This is a really good company and it shows by its employees that reflect great qualities- they are HONEST, respectful, professional and most courteous. Thank you 😊

  All went ok until the installer took the osb board that had been sitting over the opening of my chimney during June / July / Aug With a tarp over it and then the day of install, Brandon shoved it down into the chimney shaft. This single piece of particle board has trapped the smell of mold and wetness into my house. When I told Ash-busters that I had seen Brandon take this board and shove it down into the shaft, the owner reached out and told me this was dome sometimes “to get the screws to attach.” This makes zero sense. This board was on top of a chimey for 3 months under a tarp in 98 degree weather with 98% humidity so to reuse this is essentially multiplying the mold spores. This moldy board is stuck inside my wall and chimney and my house smells wet and moldy. Why would anyone drop old particle board down a chimney that had been warped from Nashville rains and humidity? I submitted this review once already and was told it was normal process to dispose of old boards by dropping them in the chimney but since my family and pets have tested positive for mold when this is the only new repair. I am re-posting. That board meeds to come out.
