  While there were a few minor ups and downs at the start of the process with the sales team, the exceptional team members I worked with truly turned the experience around. Adam was instrumental in resolving an issue that was overlooked during the initial foundation inspection. He went above and beyond to ensure that I felt heard and well taken care of as a customer. When it came time for the encapsulation, Fernando, Alex, and Alejandro were nothing short of amazing. The team was efficient, highly knowledgeable, and dedicated to ensuring everything was completed to my satisfaction. They kept me informed every step of the way, which I truly appreciated. Thank you for the great service!

  I had my crawl space encapsulated about five or six years ago after shockingly high humidity readings and growth of some bad stuff on the joists. I believe I posted about it before -- I was very pleased -- but in this review I want to focus on the ongoing service of my encapsulation, sump pump, and dehumidifier and, in particular, the amazing job and customer service by Lucas Bardo. I pay $15 a month for the Frontier Club maintenance plan and it is well worth it. Lucas comes out every 9 months to check the system, fix any tears in the encapsulation because invariably other people who have to fix things in the crawlspace tear it up. Lucas knows I love a neat and tidy encapsulation (I spend a lot of time down there for one reason or another) and he always makes sure to clean up footprints since it seems to rain every time he comes out and it is a bit muddy to get under there. I have a super busy schedule and I can't always be there when Lucas comes out, but he knows my house and the system and I trust him to come and do whatever needs to be done without my presence at the house. That is a rare service person these days indeed! And, I seem to have been a bit cursed when it comes to my dehumidifier, but Lucas comes out at no charge every time something goes wrong with it even if if is "off schedule". Earlier models of the dehumidifier like my original unit were notoriously buggy, but Lucas has fixed it or swapped it out as needed. Frankly, he has taken care of it free of charge longer than I expected. And he always comes out on very short lead time. Finally, everyone at Frontier is just as nice and friendly as can be. You can just tell it is a small business that takes pride in customer service.

  I recently attended the CE course “Navigating Foundation, Crawl Space, Basement, & Concrete Repairs for Real Estate Professionals,” and it was extremely informative. The class broke down complex structural topics in a clear, practical way that real estate professionals can easily apply when advising clients. I especially appreciated the real-world examples and guidance on what to look for during showings and inspections. Highly recommend this course to any agent wanting to better understand foundation and structural considerations.

  Giving five stars because the team that did the installation (shout out Nick and team) were thorough and great at explaining. The initially recommended system did not address all of our issues and it was a frustrating process to get back on the schedule; however, we were able to get moved up due to a cancellation. The adjustments they made seem to have resolved our issues and the work was well done. Two recommendations to future customers: 1) Make sure with your initial evaluation you are very clear where problem areas are so you can get the most specific solution possible. 2) Communicate follow-up issues with your project manager who was on site. They have the best understanding of what's going on and it is more streamlined than trying to go back through customer service. Overall, I have to go 5 stars because the install team was excellent and they were willing to go the extra mile to extend the system to cover all the leak points.

  The crawlspace in our older home was in mostly good condition until we had remodeling done that de-stabilized a bathroom floor area, resulting in significant creaking in places. Frontier recommended steel supports to stabilize the area, another support to address an inadequately supported beam they noted, and an encapsulation of the crawlspace with a dehumidifier to help prevent long term issues with humidity (condensation was noted). The work was completed by Austin and Xavier. They were polite, careful, and responsive in making adjustments to accommodate two vents that could not be covered completely because of equipment, as well as fully addressing gaps above supports with shims. While the supports could not be placed in ideal locations due to plumbing and ducts, the shifts were reasonable and the end result looks good. Frontier did not promise the floor creaking would stop, but our expectation was that the area would become more stable and not experience further shifting over time. Surprisingly, we immediately noticed that the bathroom floor seemed more stable and most of the creaking had stopped. We also noticed that recent creaking that had started on the floor above upstairs also stopped. If we find we also have warmer floors this winter and lower utility bills, we believe our decision to do all the work was a good investment. Thank you.
