  1st Choice been our first choice for about a year now, with Lance for our HVAC, and now Russell for the removal of 7 years of grease that completely blocked the drain line from one end of our house to the other. Above and beyond doesn't fully describe the superior job he did restoring service to our washing machine, dishwasher and sink! Great work and great people with the knowledge and skill to get the job done RIGHT! Knowledgeable, easy going and friendly!

  Last year my heater broke and I first was quoted 1,200 to fix it, then they came back and told me it’s actually going to be 2,200 to fix. At the time I had kids in the house so had them fix it. I have been making payments every month for the last year based on what o could afford. This year my heater breaks again. They first didn’t want to come service it because I still owed, even though I pay them every single month. They got permission from the owner to just come look at it so they did. The service guy told me that it would cost me 362 for the part, but due to me still owing if I was going to add more to my account they would have to add an additional 200 to the bill. I can’t afford to go anywhere else or make multiple payments so I agreed. Service guy came out today, and I took time off work that I can’t afford to do, all to show up and tell me that they want the 562 up front or they can’t install it. I asked him what about adding it to my bill? I thought that was the purpose for the extra 200? He said yes, but they would have to increase your current payments to either 100-150 which would triple my payment I’m currently making every other week he said they were worried it would affect my credit leaving it the same. I told him idc about my credit, this year has been very hard on me and my credit is already crappy. Then he goes to say well in the past we’ve had customer and they just you know, I go what stop paying? Because clearly I’m not going to stop paying since I’ve paid every month on time for a year. And he’s like no no no we know you wouldn’t. So I couldn’t even get a straight answer. Yesterday a lady called me and asked for payment, I told her I thought it was agreed to add it on, she’s like oh yeah okay if that’s what was discussed that’s okay. I still have to pay a service fee for him to tell me he thinks it should my switch, but he will know once it is swapped out and can re diagnose it. So now I have no heat, being lied to, and no one can tell me a straight answer. Will never ever ever ever do business with them again. I will go without heat, CONTINUE to pay on time every month and when I’m done take my business elsewhere. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

  1st choice was phenomenal to deal with. Straight to the point, quick turnaround, no hassle or upselling. Russel came out twice for separate projects and was very prompt and completed everything as needed with detail. He was awesome to answer all my questions and concerns. 10/10 company all around don’t waste your time trying to shop for better

  We would like to commend John Pinkney for getting our heat pump running again. He went through all of his diagnostic tests to figure out why our heat pump was short cycling. He did not say your issue is fixed till it was fixed. He put in the hours that went above and beyond! Thank you, John and 1st Choice!

  Russell arrived as scheduled and was very quick to verify my problem and also showed me the problem. He replaced the wax seal under the toilet and fixed my problem. He cleaned everything up and made sure everything was good . Will call 1st Choice for any plumbing issues.
