Our 129-year-old house was in urgent need of repair, and Ervin and his amazing team worked tirelessly… during a heat wave(!)… to expertly remove, reframe, and refloor our porch FAR beyond expectations. It looks gorgeous. The mahogany tongue-in-groove boards were laid with precision and care. They lifted and rewrapped our column bases, and replaced portions of our lattice and trim as well--all done beautifully. We were so impressed and grateful for their superior craftsmanship and professional work ethic. They left the work area spotless. - CCConnor CiallellaOct 7, 20245.0Expressions Carpentry headed up by Irvin and his two brothers Matt and Arlin are excellent and well rounded contractors that go above and beyond for their clients. To begin with the team are polite, thoughtful, and clean while they work. Irvin was hired to install a 30 foot box beam cover over a larger steel ceiling beam, and also part of the work was to add in matching post covers for the two ends of the ceiling beam. The box beams were masterfully installed with tremendous care and thoughtfulness by the team of brothers- all of which bring an amazing skill set to the table. The amount of care and attention to detail with every nail, pack out, and wood cut was truly something to behold. This was a very large beam cover that took a great deal of skill to fit well and look authentic. I am licensed realtor 10 years and flipper- and Expressions Carpentry were some of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Irvin was extremely pleasant and patient to work with as I had trouble finding a beam that fit our space due to the large size. He always took my numerous calls with questions as I worked through logistics on my end. I cant say enough good things about this family run contracting business. They were such a breath a fresh air with their kindness and expertise when challenges arose- in an often rough neck business they were the opposite. Kind and resourceful. I would highly recommend Expressions Carpentry to anyone looking for great contractors at a fair price.
