Great experience. I called with no water on Thursday and by Friday afternoon I had a new well pump and back up and running. Paul and everyone else i dealt with was courteous and professional. The price was fair and right about what I expected. I would highly recommend

if you are older with dementia please be careful with this company. A friend of mine older lady was just sued from no knowledge of this company going out to their property due to a divorce. The husband had dementia and this company proceeded drilling a well where there isn't even water. I understand payment from a job but to take advantage of elderly people who are fully not upstairs is completely wrong.

The technicians were professional and knew their job. I do have reservations on the overall business communication I had asked the office to have the service department give me an estimate on the lamp & tube on the UV sterilization module on Friday. They just showed up Monday. Kudos on the fast service call..orginally I called the day after ( the 5th. ) Said she would have them call me. Called again later. Nothing. Received an email on the 14th Aug saying it was due that day. Put the check in the mail and responded w like comment. Now receiving "over due" bills thru " Intuit "... I vaguely remember having similar issues when they were drilling the well. Thought it was because COVID was on us at the time but I believe I see a trend. . Also on further research they are not accredited by the BBB and think they're slick by posting their "own reviews" on " their" website. That's the reason they lost a star.

I am very disappointed in this company. My house was built in 2020 and they put my well in. They told me all was good but the department of health said my water tested high for tetrachlorethaline which can cause cancer the well company was supposed to check again. They neglected to test the water again it was a month of us drinking the water before finding out this information and the water was unsafe to use. Mayer's then apologized for the oversight and put in a filtration system to make the water safe. However the carbon needs to be changed every 3 years or so. I called many times last year and the year before always being told they will be out or they will call but nothing has happened. Still no change of the carbon. I have now call 3 times since April and still told yes they will call. I don't know how they keep clients when they refuse to call people back. I even asked if there is a note on my file saying please ignore this customer on it. The receptionist assures me no I will bring this to their attention but here I am still no response. I guess I will have to call a local competitor to hopefully get my fist system serviced. I'm so disappointed in this company. Use someone else if you want actual service.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mayer's Well Drilling

Does it matter what size pump I install?

The size of the pump you install is indeed important and depends on your household's water needs. Pumps are rated in gallons per minute (GPM), with a typical 3-4 bedroom home requiring 8-12 GPM. To determine your specific needs, add one GPM for each water fixture in your home, including appliances like washing machines, dishwashers, and refrigerators, as well as faucets, showers, and outdoor spigots.

What is the best location for my well?

When selecting a location for your well, consider several factors. Look at nearby properties with recent well installations. Ensure the well is positioned away from septic drainage fields and animal enclosures. Additionally, seek an area with minimal large rocks. These considerations will help optimize your well's location and performance.
