- BCbrian crooksNov 13, 20255.0Super fast reply and service call. Our tech Charles Weiss dove right in and diagnosed AND solved the problem in minutes. We had two previous visits from other HVAC companies that were less than confidence inspiring. Their solutions ranged from replace the entire system to a vague diagnosis about the ‘pump’. We will be having Charles replace a few knackered parts - infinitely better than installing a new system. More importantly he got our heat back just before some freezing nights happened. Unbelievably there was no charge for this call as it was for an estimate. Best estimate I ever got. Update: after our problem was diagnosed I scheduled a repair with McGinley. Once the parts were secured we booked a day and time. I expressed my concern about freezing pipes and asked if they could come sooner. They managed to find the time and came a day earlier. John Lindsay and his team were perfect - knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We had them also install a digital thermostat and we love it. The price was less than I expected and the service was outstanding. McGinley is my new go to company for all of our HVAC needs.

- JJJTNov 12, 20255.0We had a problem when upgrading our Nest Thermostat from v2 to v4. The newer one wasn't actuating the furnace properly, even after considerable time with Google tech support. Knew we had to call in a pro, but after our last couple endeavors with local services, we were a bit hesitant to say the least. After some research, I called McGinley Services Heating & Cooling. Their guy in the office, Ryan, was courteous and quite helpful. He set us up for a visit. Our technician, Charles Weiss, was a pleasant change from the usual gruff and curmudgeony repairman. He was quick and efficient in troubleshooting and then resolving the problem. We discussed the system and repair parameters in an easy to understand manner. I don't normally do any reviews, but this guy was exceptional; and the company a pleasure to do business with from the start. They are our new "go to" for HVAC services. As an aside - Services I would NOT recommend include: Aire Serv of West Chester, Brandywine Valley, and just about anyone from Petro.

Also, want to shout out to Ryan who had reached out to me and assured me that they would take great care of Me, which they did. - NWNikki WilkinsNov 1, 20255.0Welp, we coming into the cold season of Winter. I turn my heater on to take the chill out of the house and it wasn’t working properly. I called two heater services and the first scheduled and then wanted to reschedule because of Halloween. Mcginley also gave me appointment, called back and says, “ Hey! We have an appointment that came up sooner than your original appointment, would you like to take? “ “Yes, I would and thank you.” Brandon came out and he was so friendly, explanatory what he was doing and the problem, and he also gave me options that would give me better performance with my system after the fix. On top of that. The options were fairly reasonable and one of them was not to replace the heater, which I very my appreciation that. The turn around for the fix was within days the company gave me. Thank you for the experience. The system is not fixed, yet, but the initial experience is A/1 experience. Update, the company was back out on Monday and perform the services as promised. They were early, busy, and friendly. Thank you so much, McGinley’s team. I would recommend you service to anyone who is in need.
