- NPNancy PasquierDec 18, 20251.0Our heater wasn’t working so we called for a service appt. This company installed our HVAC unit in 2018 and had been out in 2023 for a repair. In a fortunate for us coincidence, our contractor was at our home before the service person arrived and diagnosed the problem as a broken motor. When the service person arrived, they went to check the system and said we needed a new motor and control panel, that one of the parts could take 8-10 business days to arrive but that they could put in an entirely new system for $7000 the next day. Our contractor was still in our house and questioned why we needed a new control panel because everything but the motor had been working when he checked it. He then found that a pin was missing from the control board. According to our contractor, he could not have tested the system prior to the HVAC technician’s arrival if the pin were missing. We confirmed this with a family member who owns an HVAC business in another state. 1 week before Christmas, no heat, parts that will take weeks to be delivered…We had the parts shipped by our family member and our contractor made the repair. Heat working in less than 48 hours. Highly suspicious but no proof. Watch out!

They tested the system and realised the issue did not need a replacement part and got me up and running saving me the cost of the part and additional labour and they took the time out to explain the different parts of the boiler to me and tests I can do myself to ensure the different parts are operational
