  GEN3 electric & HVAC was great to work with. From the representative that helped to schedule my appointment, Amy, to the representative that came to look at my electrical issues, Nell, I was treated with fast responses and solutions. I would recommend this company and have set up more appointments for my HVAC unit.

  Scott M did a great job diagnosing my electrical problem and fixing it quickly and efficiently, with a pleasant and cheerful manner. GEN3 arent the cheapest but I use them because they dont jerk you around, come when they say they are going to, and send knowledgeable and friendly techs.

  We had a wonderful experience with the entire Gen3 team and our installers Eric and Cush in particular. They were super friendly and personable, just really nice guys to work with. The installation went very smoothly and was completed right on time. All the way through our boys were diligent, professional and quiet, and always available to answer questions. Won't be able to fully test the A/C until next summer, but the heat was most welcome right off the bat. Why did we wait 27 years to do this?!

  I do not have confidence that these technicians know what they are doing and they are overpriced. In June, I had them come out for what was supposed to be routine maintenance on my dual zone unit. The tech was here for FOUR hours, and told me everything looked great, then provided an estimate for a few switches at a couple hundred dollars each (including $190 to wire an existing switch that just needed to be connected). We just startd using our heaters for the first time since this visit. The basement heater was leaking (visibly from the PVC pipe) and had caused water damage to our floors. Gen3 charged their $79 appointment fee, then the tech was here for over an hour and could not figure out the issue. He then informed me that because it was taking longer he would need to charge a $330 diagnostic fee to figure out the problem. Such a thing was not ever mentioned before, only that the $79 would be applied to same-day repairs over $250. If you work with HVAC units every day you should know how to troubleshoot this type of thing. I immediately asked him to leave and called someone else who was local and could come out right away. They came out for a $100 service charge and found the issue within 10 minutes (at no additional cost). I'll now pay for the part and repair for the cost I would have paid Gen3 to "diagnoe" the problem as they stated in their estimate I received after the appointment." I'm not convinced Gen3 didn't cause the issue when their tech was out over the summer playing around in there for hours. Will not use again and would recommend you get a second opinion if you are need of HVAC services!!

  This company was extremely responsive to my request to come out and we were helped immediately and efficiently. Peter was great and walked us through everything he saw and the quote so that we were comfortable with what needed to be done and how he would do so. He was prepared with everything he needed in his truck to solve the problem and everything was resolved the same trip. I highly recommend this group and look forward to working with them in the future for any electrical/HVAC needs.
