Robbie Hauge was a professional to a T. As he walked in my house first thing he did was put on protective booties on. Went to all three pieces of my equipment. Once he looked everything over he sat me down and explained into detail what I needed to be done to make my equipment more proficient. He is a credit to his profession. Thank you.
Gen3 was Johnny-on-the-spot when we called them to take care of a problem with our mini split after our former HVAC service technician of 14 years became unresponsive. Jayden from Gen3 was knowledgeable and helpful--and thorough. He recommended we have a surge protector installed that should have been there. He took care of that efficiently. Our aging system after 14 years is gonna need some help over the next couple years and Gen3 will be our go-to for support.

Gen 3 Electric is a problematic organization with shady customer service practices. Consumers, please be aware of this organization, as they will literally hide or change information on their end to justify their decisions rather than follow insurance protocols and practices regarding payments and claims. Stay away from this organization and don't be fooled by the positive comments. Do your homework and evaluate their feedback in totality! They present well, but underneath the table, they are shady!
Prompt, good communication. Some back and forth to confirm next steps but nothing atypical. They gave me three price point options for work that needs to be done so we can choose what to repair and when we're financially ready. We opted to replace one broken part and are prepared to fix the rest that they brought to our attention will be needed in the upcoming year. Will be working with them again when we finally need to replace everything! Great partnership
I left an edited previous review below. We did have the issue fixed by another electrician who is working with our contractor. The problem turned out to be behind the stove. The home inspector moved the stove out, after he checked the outlets and when he did that, it disconnected something. That was the cause. I gave Gen3 an improved 4 star rating. I would have changed to 5 but for the lack of walk through, the sloppy finish work with the wires leaving the box and the ridiculous squirrel on the wire comment.
Edited previous review.
The tech never checked if everything worked before he left, he didn't do a walk through with us. We did came back to pay him, before he left, so he had the chance. Everything worked, with pictures from the home inspector prior to the box upgrade. Since the tech didn't check and we didn't discover it prior to moving in, we don't know when it stopped working. When I called, they sent 1 tech 1st and then a master electrician after him. They both said they didn't know the cause, something must be wrong in the wall and it would be 1500$ to fix. We already paid over 5000$ for the upgrade. The thing that really bothered me was after the 2 visits, I called to see what we could do and the person I spoke with told me with my "intermittent power issue", maybe it was a "squirrel on the wire and you should call PECO". I can't believe he said that. It's not intermittent, it's constant. This is known and why they came back in the 1st place. I'm having someone else do the work now. It would have been better, if at the time they did the work, someone said there are issues, at which point they could have fixed the problem then, even if it cost more.
I commend Gen3 for sending 2 people out on separate occasions and the second person really impressed my husband with his knowledge and thoroughness.
Josh, the person that estimated the job, was great. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Josh explained everything very clearly and we were able to schedule our work for that week. I have since been told that I paid too much for the upgrade and the electrician that evaluated my electric said the box looks good but the person left the wires out of the box "like spaghetti" and "he could have done a neater job and not left everything to hang". The new electrician is going to neaten it up when he does our job.
Price assessment
Told by another electrician we paid too much.
Overall reliable work.
