  This has to be the most poorly operated company that I have every been exposed to. I have called them several times with issues and they state that they will follow up and never do. I have to call every year to remind them of my yearly service otherwise they don't show up. I have had a regulator problem that was supposed to be fixed and they say that is on order. Two years later I am still waiting. My most recent call (2 months ago) was to express my concern over their service and was assured that they would follow-up. Still they have not shown up. I have finally went to another provider and found out that the regulator on My Generac was never installed properly in the first place. If there had been a zero star rating, I would give them a zero rating for the following. 1. total incompetence 2. no follow-up 3. very poor customer service 4. Lack knowledge of the Generac equipment I cannot understand how Woodhyrst Co. can stay in business. However, they are still in business, but a one star rating is too generous.

  Woodhyrst installed our generator years ago and we’ve had a service/maintenance contract with them since. Their technicians are polite and friendly. They carefully maintain, check, and clean up very nicely during their annual service. Upon this year’s annual maintenance visit the tech noticed an emerging issue, Woodhyrst was back in a couple days (with no chasing, or calls needed from us), changed the part out, and kept us in top shape before we even noticed an issue. It’s hard to find folks with their level of integrity and follow up. Thank you!

  Woodhyrst installed my Generac 22KW whole-home generator in June of 2020 and I've had no problems since. The installation was perfect and required a lot of "navigating" through two exterior walls spanning the entire width of the house with the electric line (hiding it perfectly in the I-Beam). Not an easy job at all! Couldn't be more pleased. Annually, under my elected, extended service agreement, they come out like clockwork and run tests, clean the unit, check the battery, etc. I highly recommend Woodhyrst...and I highly recommend going "all in" and powering the unit directly from your gas service. During the spring 2025 storms that ripped through the area, the unit ran for 15 hours straight; I never had to worry about propane running out which was true peace of mind.
