- BTBennett TurnerJul 18, 20225.0We’re now into our second year of maintenance service with Scatton’s. Recently had a problem arise, and they were fairly quick to respond to the issue (it wasn’t an emergency repair). However, during the repair the technician (Jay) determined that the initial diagnosis was wrong, and that he wouldn’t have to replace some parts after all. So basically there would be less work and less parts cost, which would bring the overall estimate cost down. He could’ve just replaced the part anyway and kept the original estimate and we would’ve never known. Jay was friendly, quick, and knowledgable, and he patiently answered all my questions. This is precisely how you establish lifelong customers. Highly recommended.

Scatton’s installed the heater in our home before we bought the house but refused to come out and service the unit over the weekend because we were “new customers.” Regardless of their other reviews, it’s tough to recommend a company with no compassion. Look elsewhere.

Called 3 other service techs and Scattons was the only company that could provide service to me on the same day. Others were unable to come out and expected me to wait until the net day for service which was unacceptable. The tech was polite, prompt and to the point. Id give them 5 stars but the price seemed a little steep for such a short repair. Considering they were able to get me serviced same day and I didn't have to replace my system, I am happy with these guys....$171 later. However, I'll use them again for my annual HVAC maintenance.
