  We ordered laminate countertops through Lowe's December 18th 2021 and this is the company who was assigned our contract. they came out and measured promptly (within 2 weeks) and was told but their guy he believed it would be 5+ weeks (Lowe's told us 8-10) We waited 9 weeks (February 23rd) and when we still had not heard anything we called Lowe's to ask what was going on. Lowe's called the mill and was told "they messed up a cut and have to redo it, you will hear from them about scheduling install next week" March 7th we called because we had not heard back again and they said they were waiting for materials. March 15th we called again and they said they were still waiting for materials, but then they called us a half hour later and said they had our materials they were mis-entered into the system. March 28th we were told it would be another 3-4 weeks for completion because they had to put it back into production. Lowe's called us on April 11th - our countertop was to be completed on the 22nd and if we didn't hear from the mill about install by the 27th we should call Lowe's back to check on them. April 27th we called Lowe's, Lowe's left 2 messages for the Mill to get back to us. April 28th - the mill called us. They made another mistake and want to re-order materials. so we were looking at another 5-7 weeks for production.

  This company is horrible! We went thru Lowe’s and got these guys. Absolutely horrible! Worst company ever. Couldn’t finish a edge on a counter top that I finished myself. Took them 4 trips and they still couldn’t finish it. Absolutely horrible and disgusting people. In the process of contacting the Better business borough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! You will regret it!

  cabinets are terrible gaps behind the counter where it should be flush and over hang on one side and not the other...very terrible professionals

  I recently had my unusually shaped counter replaced by Somerset Millworks. We recently painted our cabinets to give our outdated kitchen a new, more modern look without replacing the entire kitchen. When it came to the counter we wanted a laminate to save money as we plan to remodel the entire kitchen... eventually! This counter has been a pain in the neck as it is a strange semi-octagon shape that no one and I mean NO ONE would make a new laminate top for. We had quotes for solid surface and granite for thousands of dollars but they would not do a laminate. Somerset was contacted via our local Lowe’s and came back with a YES to make the counter in our preferred finish and within our budget!! It took a little over one month for them to make it however, the space needed measured and then a template needed made for the octagon. This counter is PERFECT! The measurements are accurate, the fit precise, the finish beautiful and we easily installed it ourselves. The people I spoke with and came in contact with are helpful, kind and professional. I thank you a million times over Somerset!! Our kitchen looks positively AMAZING and the counter is beautiful!! Highly recommended!!
