  The service I received at Marion's Wilsonville was 5 star outstanding! I had a very bad experience at another local flooring retailer and with a few local contractors. David was very patient and knowledgeable. He made sure that everything he promised would happen in the time promised. The installer he recommended was AMAZING! They were professional CRAFTSMAN! I only wish they did tile installs. I'm so happy we chose Marion's and David to assist with our gorgeous flooring and install.

  Avoid at all cost. This place is the worst. No follow through, no accountability, no clue how to run a business. Absolutely ZERO customer service. We will never go back.

  Really difficult to work with. I had a small job—replacing carpet on a staircase and a small patch in a closet—on a short deadline. When I first called, I was told measurements weren’t necessary and that I could just choose a carpet in their warehouse. After driving up from Salem in rush-hour traffic, I was told the opposite: that I did need measurements after all, and someone would call to schedule them, and I was advised to come back again after the measurements were done. They also suggested I could save money by buying carpet from them but hiring a local installer in Salem. That turned out to be bad advice: the local installer confirmed they wouldn’t install another company’s product because of warranty issues, so the suggestion just wasted my time. No one ever called to schedule measurements. When I followed up, they didn’t even have my information on file, so I gave it to them again. Still no call. On my third follow-up, they finally had my information but still hadn’t scheduled anything—so I had to wait for them to reach out to the installer on my behalf. Only then did the installer finally contact me. When he came, he barely measured anything, promised a quick estimate, and then went silent. After yet another follow-up with him directly and then with the warehouse, I eventually received a $500 labor quote—but oddly, it came via DocuSign, as though I was expected to sign before even finalizing my carpet choice. Later, I found out I didn't actually need to fix the closet issue. When I asked if removing the closet patch would lower the price, the installer again didn’t respond. I had to go back through the warehouse, and days later they reduced the quote by $100. By that point, I had already hired another provider who handled removal, carpet, and labor together for $500 total and finished the job within days. To be fair, Deb at the warehouse was kind and clearly trying to help. But the rest of the process was so disorganized and communication so unreliable that I had no confidence they could have met my deadline. I only ever got progress by making repeated phone calls, and the constant back-and-forth turned what should have been a simple project into a drawn-out hassle.

  It was the best experience I have ever had in a carpet store David did just what a salesman should do HE LISTENED TO HIS CUSTOMERS NEEDS. He did not try to sell us something we didn't need and that meant more to us than anything. Thank you David. Robert & Georgine.
