I have been using this company to clean the grease trap for my restaurant for over a year. They come to clean it once a month, and each time they come before we come back for business. So every time I see their staff, I don't know if they have cleaned it or not. Until this week, I found that our grease trap couldn't drain the water, so I contacted their company. However, every time I called in, they asked me to leave a message. Therefore, I also left a message for them for the first time. But after two days, I still haven't received a reply from them because the grease trap couldn't drain the water and it was very difficult for us to clean the things in the restaurant. So we called again today. The result was still the same, asking me to leave a message. I left a message too, but after a while, I still didn't get a reply. I've tried to call several times but still haven't received a reply. I'm really troubled. They deduct money from my bank every month, and there's also the key to our restaurant. Now I'm very troubled. I want to terminate the service with them and ask them to return the keys to me, but they don't answer the phone, so I'm very troubled.

FOG is an acronym for fats, oils, and grease. These substances, along with solid food particles, are collected by your grease trap to prevent contamination of city sewer lines. Regular grease trap cleaning services help ensure your establishment complies with local regulations and avoids costly plumbing issues.
What kind of oil do you recycle?
Our company primarily recycles used cooking oil from fryers. We also accept various types of FOG, including bacon grease, beef tallow, peanut oil, sunflower seed oil, and vegetable oil. Please be aware that we do not accept motor oil or appliance oil for recycling.
How does your cooking oil recycling program work?
Our cooking oil recycling program is a free service. We provide you with a clean oil receptacle suitable for your waste oil production. You'll be compensated for your used cooking oil based on the amount generated by your establishment. Once the receptacle is full, we'll collect it and add your establishment to a pickup route. The frequency of collection is determined by the size of your receptacle. After collection, we process the oil at our facility and replace lids or containers as needed.
What's the difference between a grease trap and an oil container?
Grease traps are plumbed-in devices located inside establishments or underground outside. They collect FOG to prevent sewer line contamination. In contrast, our recycling program provides a separate collection container for FOG. You simply deposit your used cooking oil into this container for our scheduled pickup.
How do I change my grease trap frequency?
To adjust your grease trap cleaning frequency, contact our office. We'll update our scheduling system accordingly. Our software automatically alerts us when your grease trap or interceptor is due for service. We manage your grease trap frequency and submit the necessary pump-out reports to city inspectors, ensuring your establishment remains compliant with current regulations.
Is Oregon Oils a member of the Preferred Pumper Program?
Yes, Oregon Oils is a certified member of the Preferred Pumper Program (PPP). As a registered PPP member, we adhere to strict pump-out criteria. Commercial FOG generators in the region are encouraged to use preferred pumpers like us. By choosing Oregon Oils, you ensure that maintenance is performed correctly and to the highest industry standards. We also handle the submission of pump-out reports, taking on the responsibility for proper documentation.
Do you offer regularly scheduled oil collection and grease trap cleaning
Yes, we provide regularly scheduled cleaning services for both oil collection and grease trap maintenance. Service agreements are available to suit your specific needs and requirements.
My grease trap overflowed. What should I do?
In the event of a grease trap overflow, contact our office immediately. We'll dispatch a technician to assess the situation and perform a pump-out if necessary. Overflows are typically caused by clogged pipes, and your pump-out frequency may need to be increased. To prevent future issues, we recommend setting up a regular cleaning schedule, avoiding sweeping food down drains, and keeping non-food materials out of your drainage system.
How to reduce foul grease trap odors?
Grease traps naturally produce odors that can emanate from the trap lid or sink drains. To address buildup and odors, consider installing a new gasket (we offer this service for a nominal fee), increasing the frequency of scheduled pick-ups, and avoiding the disposal of milk products down your sink. These measures can help mitigate unpleasant odors associated with grease traps.
What kind of businesses do you offer oil collection and grease trap cleaning?
Our oil collection and grease trap cleaning services are available to a wide range of businesses with kitchen facilities. This includes restaurants, hotels, resorts, senior living communities, hospitals, and any other establishment that operates a commercial kitchen.
