- MEMatthew EichtenSep 19, 20252.0Forklift rental was easy to set up, with smooth delivery. No issues there. However, the service department has been absolutely abysmal. We purchased a forklift from a third party that turned out to have major issues and turned to Equipment Depot for repair. After waiting several weeks for a quote, I finally had to chase it down through their estimator. Once I agreed to move forward with the work, I sent 6–7 emails and made 4 phone calls, yet no one has gotten back to me. If this was work they didn’t want to take on, they should have been upfront about it. Instead, between their estimator Tom and their service manager Jason, there has been zero communication or accountability. Meanwhile, we’ve continued renting a lift from them (perhaps that’s why they aren’t motivated to fix ours) since they’re already making money on the rental. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere and will not be returning to this company.
