While my bathroom/small covered deck / sauna addition had its share of hiccups like any project, everything was resolved with good grace and communication. I am very pleased with the results. The majority of subs were excellent and I want to thank them for their execution of their work. Things I would do differently? Spend more time walking through plans and expectations with Alex so that he can catch discrepancies between them, check assumptions, or outline alternatives early. Ask more questions of Alex on what the allowance levels associated with estimates from the subs are, and what that buys in terms of work/fit/finish etc. Things Alex could do differently? Hard to do, but work fewer simultaneous projects allowing greater attention to each project.
