Cheap organization that leaves thier work trucks parked in residential neighborhoods that thier workers do not live in for multiple days at a time. Formal complaints will be filed by the HOA to the Oregon construction contractors board.

We had a flood in our basement caused by a faulty toilet. The first contact company I called (at random) to remove the water was horrible and I quit using them. My insurance agent at Allstate recommended me to NW Restoration of Tualatin, Oregon to do the rest of the work. Needless to say I was extremely pleased with the results. Their response time and personnel were exceptional. Their manager, Connor Clark, and a NW representative, Tom Holt, visited us and explained what needed to be done and gave us a complete description of our damage. Then, after they reported their extremely fair cost to repair, immediately got to work. Tom kept us informed almost daily as the work progressed while his team did the repair to the floor and walls. The results, finished just a few days later, were exceptional!. I was very pleased with all their careful work and highly recommend NW to anyone that wants a skilled and fairly priced construction/repair/water removal on their home.

Great experience with NW Restoration and **especially impressed with my Project Manager, Alex Hillestad.** . I had flood damage and a confusing insurance process, and Alex went above and beyond to help. He was an excellent communicator (which is extremely helpful when there’s so many contractors involved to coordinate) and I was so grateful for him going out of his way to keep me in the loop of not only status on the insurance side (that I wasn’t getting from my claims adjuster) but also what all the other contractors were doing. During the entire process he was advocating for me to make sure things were getting done right and pointing out things I wouldn’t have known to ask. It was evident he really cared. If you want a contractor who goes above and beyond on both service and skill, this is the team to trust! Thank you Alex for sticking through it with me to the end!

How long will the restoration process take?

Can I repair water damage myself?
The short answer is no. You should not try to perform water damage restoration to your property yourself. Most homeowners don't have the equipment or knowledge necessary to determine the extent of the damage or to restore the property to pre-loss condition. Water is not something you want to mess with. If it’s not properly removed, you risk greater factors like mold infesting your home or business. We recommend you call us today and let us help you remedy the problem.
Do you communicate with our insurance adjustor?
Being a customer-centered business with lots of experience handling insurance companies, we will absolutely help manage the process from beginning to end, including advocating on our customers' behalf with insurance companies who don't want to pay to get the job done right. We want our clients to have peace of mind knowing everything has been handled the way it needs to be, and there is no chance of ramifications down the road with other contractors who might cut corners. Call us today and let us help you through the challenging water damage restoration process.

Can water damage be hidden, and if so, what are the signs?
Yes, water damage can be hidden. Look for water spots and changes in surface textures, especially on vertical walls and ceilings. There may be a smell of mildew or standing water in a crawl space. If you suspect or detect water damage, it’s important you act fast to avoid the need for mold removal.
Do I need to hire a professional mold removal company or can I do it myself?
Due to the danger of mold and black mold, especially in the Pacific Northwest where our environment is especially conducive to it, it's absolutely critical you do not try to handle mold removal on your own. If you find mold in your home, we advise you to leave the removal to us. Health concerns due to the inhalation of mold spores or the contamination of the other spaces in your home present elevated health concerns. Call us today!

Should I file an insurance claim after a fire?
Yes, insurance can set you up with additional living accommodations, pet accommodations, food, and other expenses to continue life as normal as possible while the fire damage restoration process is being handled. Even if it’s not a huge issue to you, smoke can create damage to your health that you can’t see and can still render your home unsafe.
Can I inspect my home and belongings after a fire?
We strongly advise you to avoid re-entering your home after a fire. Beyond the concerns of smoke inhalation, fire and smoke can weaken the structure of a home substantially, increasing the risk of collapse. You should wait for the fire damage restoration process to be completed.
