- TKToby KJun 30, 20235.0First off, Geoff & Tier1 Electrical were recommended by a trusted source for a Generac whole home backup solution. Its a big investment...naturally I had plenty of questions for the electricians/installers that I considered for our home. Geoff at Tier1 stood out above all the rest in terms of responsiveness, attention to details and being thorough/patient throughout the entire process from our first interaction to the end with Generac installed. Post-installation Geoff recommended a 25hr engine break-in test period to ensure that everything ready to go when the power goes out...once that was done he returned to our house to give all the equipment a once-over, change oil/filter to synthetic ... all included in our original package price. I doubt other installers are going that extra mile. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tier1 for your Generac install!
