  Metropolitan answered my emergency call and sent a technician within 2 hours when nobody else would ( including the company I had originally purchased my heat pump from who told me 1 week) I had a power outage that required the condenser to be disconnected for Hydro to repair the lines underneath the ground. Neil the technician was very knowledgeable and patient, explained every single question I had. I now only wish that I purchased my A/C unit from them instead of City Home Comfort who advised me to "rent a generator". Lisa was also very polite and helpful over the phone as well despite me not being an existing customer. This is the type of service that gets a customer for life! If any family or friends need HVAC services in Scarborough I will send them your way as I know they are in good hands!

  Update, post installation. The Good: The technicians showed up on time. They seemed to know what they are doing, they were efficient and installation took a few hours and they explained everything. They cleaned after themselves too. The NOT so good: They turned off our water heater, WITHOUT telling us. So we take a shower at night and the water is cold, not a big deal, right? Problem is: Our water heater had rust on the supply line. The rust was holding, and there was no leak. Even their own technician during the previous visit asked us NOT to touch it, and I said yes, I know! So, without telling us anything, they proceeded to clean the rust!! So when we turned it back on, the water heater started to leak! That's another $2500 expense. They also left the door to backyard WIDE open, which we dicovered a few days later. The Ugly: I called the company and told them this is what happened, the lady who answered the phone said she will pass the message to the owner and he will either call the same day or the day after, and that was 7 days ago! Still no calls. So, is it because the bill is paid? I am not saying that, you can draw your own conclusions. Would I recommend them to my friends? Well, it depends. I would if they can drop everything and watch over them not to touch anything! Emanuel is possibly the nicest human being on the planet! He was pulled away on an emergency call before our appointment so he called to let me know he was going to be late. He arrived at the time he promised, took his time to test everything and share his knowledge before delivering the bad news that our furnace has sadly passed away! He is a pleasure to deal with and if that represents the company in general, customers are in good hands. I maybe able to provide another review after the furnace has been replaced, but so far so good!

  I was extremely pleased with the installations carried out by Metropolitan Heating and Air Conditioning of a new small combination boiler and hot water system as well as a heat pump. They ensured that things were done properly and followed up to make sure that I was very satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience with them.

  I’ve been using Metropolitan Heating & Air Conditioning for quite some years now. I’ve always had a wonderful experience with the members of this organization. Lisa and Natasha are always friendly and willing to assist or make changes to schedules to accommodate their customers. They are courteous and pleasant when dealing with their customers and a very essential part of team. I recently had my furnace serviced by a technician by the name of Emmanuel. He was very thorough in his work and very hospitable, especially while discussing his findings with us. We appreciate him and the others members of this organization. Metropolitan Heating & Air conditioning is a name that you can trust.
