Rick is amazing! So friendly and helpful, always willing to help. We have been a loyal customer for approximately 5-6 years. We've always been happy with the service & treated with respect, until recently. We had our A/C annual service scheduled but started having issues with the house not cooling appropriately. The upstairs was warm, yet it was working but not working properly. I left a voicemail on a Sunday, Rick called first thing Monday. He was willing to come out but had a lot of people without a/c. We told him, it's ok, we will try to wait until our appt. on Friday, since it was working. We didn't want to take away from others who needed service.
Two days later, it was still not working properly, so my husband asked me to call the office to see if they could come out sooner. I explained the above, not an emergency, but it isn't working correctly. We were told if not that day, they will come out the next day (Wednesday.) They did indeed come Wednesday & we were told by the service person, while at our home, that we would be charged extra for coming out two days early. We were not told this when making the appt. It only needed to be cleaned, no parts were needed. It was a service appt. two days early. We were VERY clear stating it was working but was not working properly.
Long story short, we called to ask why were we being charged extra, when we were scheduled two days later for a normal servicing appt.? The response was.. "Look at the bill, you were not charged extra $!"
The office called back again needing the correct c/c #. We asked for this individual again asking why we would be charged extra, and the service person said we were indeed charged extra for coming 2 days early! The response we both received on the speaker phone was... " Why are you questioning me? If you do not like our service, then leave! I am taking you off of our customer list & never call here again, because we will not help you!" She was very hateful, rude & was yelling at us as loud as loud can be!
We continued to tell her that we are very happy with the service & have been a long-time customer, we were simply asking a question about the bill, which we have every right to do!
She then told me I did not tell her that our A/C was working (which is not true, I told her it wasn't working properly but was working. This is why she delayed us a day into Wednesday. I was very clear it was not an emergency.)
She then admitted there was an extra fee added to the bill, & lied to me previously. She yelled at the top of her lungs at us both telling us that anyone that ever questions her about a bill is GONE! Removed from the customer list!
WOW.. does she ever need a course 101 in Customer Service!
A few days later we received a bill that said.." Do not pay... NEVER call us again because we will not help you!" (In all CAPS!)
I feel badly for Rick because we have had nothing but a good experience with himself & his service staff. This person, his wife, treated us like we were dirt, after being a loyal customer for many years AND referring several to their company.
We have never been spoken to this way before. We were in awe of her response.
Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone. If you have a question about a bill, she will remove you from the customer list. No questions allowed, at this company.
This is NO way to run a business. VERY disappointing to say the least.
