    I was down with (NO HOT WATER) and no way to keep going for the day. After talking to Blake at Apex Pros.he assured me that the money I would spend to try to save this tank would not justify the money spent. It was better to replace it which at that time I agreed also, he assured me it would be painless also a good replacement. I would be back up running and running with little to no downtime. that man was right!! he went right to working on it explained the process, which to me seemed very complicated. You can tell this man’s a professional in his trade. He also advised me on a couple other things to keep in mind going forward. in case I needed to replace those as well in the future. Not only did Blake I feel go above and beyond his professionalism was superior like no other. As my youngest sons was trying to watch him work, he even made time to talk to them and share a few laughs and let my youngest son hold the flashlight for a short time. made him feel like he was important also that made his day!! My son felt like he accomplished something. he told me he helped me fix it Dad. We need more people like this in the world they go above and beyond for the customer, and even though they didn’t know us, it was almost like family when he left. He had very little to no cleanup left when the job was complete. Everything looked as good as it should. He did advise me. It would take a few minutes for the tank to warm up. he knocked this one out out of the park. Thanks, Blake for a wonderful experience will be looking to your services in the future. PS my youngest son is now watching hot water tank videos on YouTube. I think he amazed himself and now he wants to become a plumber. Thanks again Blake and have a wonderful holiday can’t say thanks enough 👍🇺🇸

    Columbia Gas made a huge mistake while testing our neighbors gas lines and ended up ruining the gas regulator valves in both our furnace and water heater. Apex got two separate techs (Braden and Hunter) out the next day, who got us quoted for repair and replacement. They were very sympathetic to our situation and waived diagnostic fees. The customer service rep I talked to was also great

    My parents had Apex out for a plumbing issue back in September. The plumber was very nice but couldn't find anything wrong when he was there. He did talk them into signing up for the care bear club that seemed like it would be a good benefit for them. They paid their first month dues on September 4th ($19.99) and had a technician (Jesse O.) come out to service the furnace unit for maintenance at that time, Octobers dues for the care bear club ($19.99) were pulled October 1st.  Fast forward to last week, when the weather was finally cool enough for the heat to come on, their furnace wasn't working. It sounded like it would start and then turn off again. We all assumed a pilot light was out but since they had signed up for the program it would be best to have Apex come out both because it should be an easy fix and the furnace had worked when they last used it before this maintenance. They called and were able to get an appointment for the next day (they called in the late afternoon). Michael (Mike) showed up got into the furnace and this is where things went south. He accused my parents of getting into the furnace and taking out the igniter. When they insisted they had done nothing of the sort he then said sometimes "the elderly" will have family members come "help" and are afraid to admit that. He initially stated that it was going to cost $700 (delivered while laughing) to replace the missing igniter, then he said $600, when they asked about the care bear club he stated that he didn't see any signs of them ever signing up for it but he could provide a 20% discount bringing the days total to $495, what the invoice stated was that the total was actually $551 with a 5% discount bringing the total to $495 (mind you a sticker placed by Apex on the furnace during the care bear maintenance is what we used to call). My parents reluctantly agreed to pay because they weren't sure they could get another company out since it was already Friday. Once Michael was done he said they would receive a detailed invoice but they needed to pay right then. They paid and and today received an invoice which stated the customer was at fault and a video proves that. I will be calling to request the video shortly. We tried calling Saturday and just got an AI bot that said someone would call back but in the meantime we took the picture of the igniter (provided on the maintenance invoice) and did and compared it to what's available online . They paid $495 for an igniter that retails for at most $50. I'm not sure what the labor for installing it is but Micheal showed up at 11:56 and completed the job at 2:02, he did leave for a bit in the middle of the service and also sat on the porch to take a phone call during those two hours so the markup is insane on either the part or the labor. So to be clear, a tech did maintenance, included pictures of an igniter, complemented them on how clean everything looked, that same igniter was then out of place but clearly they pulled it out. Oh! To add insult to injury, that plumbing problem the first plumber couldn't find? It was a bad flapper in a toilet, something that should have been an easy find/fix. The company's solution to all of this is to just refund the care bear membership dues. Please steer away from this company, the accusation of my parents  pulling the igniter was bad, the price changing was bad, but the attitude in which this whole service delivered was even worse.
