This company does not care about the customer, only their profits. I had work done in 2023 after buying an old home. I paid $1,500 of the $3,400 up front, and when the work was complete the tech told me the quote was too high and declined to take my payment for the balance, saying they would call the next day. When I didn't hear from them I thought they had adjusted it down to what I had already paid. I did not received a phone call, text, email, or letter in the mail for more than TWO YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS. Recently they called to collect the full "remaining balance". After explaining I was unaware of said balance and Amy insisting they cannot waive the balance, even due to the circumstance, she at one point alluded to them not being able to pay their employees due to my "unpaid invoice" and ensuring me that after the measly 10% discount they offered they "aren't making any profit" on collecting the invoice. Highly questionable since it didn't seem to affect them for nearly two and a half years, and they were still able to pay for all those wrapped vans and radio advertisements. After this much time, this money will no doubt just add to the 55 million dollar goal to follow up the 33 million in profits their owner brags about on podcasts. I, however, am in a totally different financial situation than I was 2.5 years ago, and that balance was spent on other repairs to my home after not hearing from Apex for that first 90 days. After multiple phone calls that went absolutely nowhere, and asking for a manager several times and not once being connected to one, the company threatened collections. Feeling backed into a corner, I offered the best I can afford right now, $100 a month. I was told the manager "would not even consider that" and they expect at least an initial $1,000 payment. I again explained that my financial situation is completely different than it was in 2023, partially due to THEIR failure to make me aware of the invoice. They offered to put me in touch with a third party loan company they no doubt get kickbacks from. This is not an option for me. So now it seems that balance will go to collections for pennies on the dollar and ruin my credit rather than Apex having any understanding for the situation they've put me in and collecting the full amount over time. Before this I was recommending them to anyone who needed work done, but after this experience will encourage everyone to AVOID THIS COMPANY.

⭐ 1-Star Review
APEX Pros has been the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. They should not be offering electrical or HVAC services at all. They failed to fix my original electrical issue months ago and never communicated properly. They canceled an appointment without telling anyone, then randomly showed up today with no warning and no ground markings.
While digging, they hit an underground line and made my entire electrical situation worse — to the point that Ohio Edison now has to repair the damage they caused. They didn’t bury wires correctly, didn’t follow basic safety procedures, and showed zero accountability. Their workmanship and communication are absolutely unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere.

I signed up for the carebear club when I bought my first house last month. I thought it was a great price to be able to have an inspection and/or preventative maintenance of electrical, plumbing, furnace and hvac systems for $240 for the year. I have had a very good experience so far. I want to give a particular positive shout out to Luke for electrical. He was very knowledgeable, very informative to us and did a great job. Definitely gave the impression he wanted to help us. I also want to give a positive shout out to Jacob, the plumber. Same thing. He was very knowledgeable and informative and definitely seemed to be wanting to help us.Very pleased with my purchase of the carebear club and highly recommend Luke for electrical and Jacob for plumbing.

SCAM!! Of a company acquired a quote on a gutter drain clean out.tech came out guaranteed there snake would take care of the clog “they couldn’t do a camera first because it was in another work vehicle” wanted paid up front for the work so we trusted there “professional” opinion paid them full! To find out There snake couldn’t do the job and needed the camera once camera guy got there after multiple times of me asking to see where the clog was his answer was it all needs replaced “but we do offer a care bear plan! Declined the care plan and all they could say was sorry for the news you got then left. Paid all that money.was lead on it would be fixed didnt get any sort of answer or idea where or what to fix. Declined there pyramid scam plan.and Was Absolutely used to collect an easy pay! Also customer service was horrible don’t trust there site where it says if ur unsatisfied we will make it right !

We called Apex for help with a clogged kitchen sink and were told someone would be out the next day between 1 PM and 6 PM. Before 1, we got a call offering to come early, which would’ve been great if we weren’t at work. They said no problem, they’d be back around 4.
Fast forward to nearly 6 PM… no one shows, no updates. Then we finally get a call saying they have to cancel and can come the next morning instead. By then, we’d already rearranged our schedules for their time window, only to have it fall apart at the last minute.
What started as a simple clog turned into a full-blown headache ....dishes piling up, no sink, no dishwasher, all thanks to poor communication and zero follow-through. And judging by other reviews, this kind of thing seems to be business as usual for Apex.
We ended up calling a well-known plumbing company in Columbus who had someone at our house within 20 minutes. They fixed the issue fast, were friendly, professional, and even cost less. Night and day difference.
If you’re considering Apex, maybe do a little extra research first. Reliability shouldn’t be too much to ask for.
