After days with the water shut off and a really bad experience with another plumbing company, Jamie arrived from Honey Go Fix It and had the faucet repaired and the water turned back on in one hour of time. We were very satisfied and definitely will call HGFI first the next time we need a home repair. Thanks Jamie, much appreciated 👏

WARNING: They threatened to "put a lien on the house" when I questioned their pricing. I'm 45 years old, have lived in three 100-year-old homes, and have never before left a negative review for a contractor. I hired Honey Go Fix It to reseat a toilet. I chose them because of their 4.9 Google rating and promise of a free estimate. When the plumber arrived, I approved and signed an estimate on a small phone screen. I trusted what he was telling me and was not shown the actual dollar amount displayed clearly on the screen before signing. The technician completed the work in less than 20 minutes and then showed me a bill for $481.65. I was stunned. A wax ring costs about $10 and no other materials were needed. The price was astronomical for the work performed. The verbal quote was mumbled and unclear. When I saw $481.65 on the final bill, I genuinely thought there was a mistake. I declined to pay immediately and called the office to resolve it. Here's where it really went wrong. I spoke to Kassandra, the President of the company, to discuss the situation. Within the first two minutes, before I could even fully explain what happened, she threatened to file a lien on my house if I didn't pay immediately. I offered to pay $300 to resolve it amicably. That's still $900/hour for 20 minutes of work with a $10 part. Kassandra said she'd "review it with her team" and later refused via email, claiming their responsibility is to "maintain fair and consistent pricing," while simultaneously admitting that they are "adding extra clarity steps during the estimate approval process to help prevent future misunderstandings." Consistent pricing? Maybe. Fair? Absolutely not. The owner acknowledged in writing that their current process causes confusion. Yet, she still demanded full payment and threatened our property rights. Being immediately threatened with a lien on our house for simply asking questions destroyed any chance of restoring trust in her company. I paid the invoice to avoid the hassle of a lien, but I'm leaving this review so others can protect themselves. If you use this company: 1. Get the total dollar amount in writing, on paper, in large readable text, before you sign anything. 2. Research what competing plumbers charge for the same work. 3. If you can't clearly see the price or feel rushed or pressured, do not sign. This company has lost my business and recommendation. I hope this review helps you make an informed choice. ***UPDATE after the owner's reply: 1. PRICING: promises "no service call fee." However, the owner's reply states the price includes "travel" and "preparation." 2. ESTIMATE: the $481.65 was never shown on the phone screen. The owner admits they're "adding extra clarity steps... to help prevent future misunderstandings," but refused to make the situation right with me. 3. THE LIEN: the owner's reply frames this as a calm "discussion of rights." This is incorrect. Her exact words to me when I told her I couldn't pay $500 to reseat a toilet were, "I will just put a lien on your house." I stand by my original review and the owner's reply only confirms the facts.

I had Jamie and his colleagues fix my main line sewer pump. I had a couple of other companies come and one was about $3k more than what I was quoted from honey go fix it, and the other did not have the equipment to fix it same day. I am very grateful for the kindness and professionalism I was shown when honey go fix it came. They made sure to explain everything to me and show me what the problem was and explained the fees once the final invoice came in. I felt confident in the work I was receiving from them and I am thankful that they made this awful and stressful situation a little less stressful knowing I was working with a company I could trust.

I hired Honey Go Fix it in May 2024 to replace my sump pump after water entered my basement. They charged me over $600 for the replacement and assured me the issue was resolved. Fast forward a little over a year later- water started coming in again. I called them back and they told me the sump pump they in installed was no longer working and needed to be replaced again! They offered to deduct only the $150 service fee but that I would be expected to pay the full price to install a nother pump. That's completely unacceptable. A sump pump should last many years, not barely one. This company clearly doesn't stand behind their work or their products. Poor customer service, poor accountability, and no integrity. I will never use Honey Go Fix It again, and I don't recommend anyone else does either. Update after the company's response: Their public response is completely inaccurate. Your response is a blatant distortion of what actually happened. At no point did anyone from your company offer to apply the $600 I already paid toward the cost of a new sump pump. If such an offer had been made, it would have been an obvious and reasonable resolution- and of course I would have accepted it. The truth is simple: your technician contacted your office while at my home, and the message I received was clear- I would have to pay the full price for a replacement pump. Nothing about applying my previous payment was ever mentioned. Your explanation that the pump was " the correct size at the time but is no longer the correct size now" makes absolutely no logical sense. The laws of physics didn't change in the past year. Either the pump was undersized from the start, or your company misdiagnosed the job. Claiming otherwise is a weak attempt to excuse poor workmanship and deflect responsibility. Rather than acknowledging that the installation failed prematurely, you've chosen to publicly invent details to make yourselves look reasonable. That kind of dishonesty speaks volumes about how your company handles accountability. Customers deserve transparency and integrity- not rewritten history when things go wrong.
