Tom Connolly is hands-down the most reliable and skilled plumber I’ve ever worked with.
He tackled a wide range of issues in my home — from persistent leaks and tricky drainage problems to the flawless installation of new faucets and toilets — with professionalism, precision, and genuine care.
What impressed me most was his thoroughness. Tom didn’t just fix the obvious problems he also took the time to inspect everything, explain the root causes clearly, and offered practical, long-lasting solutions.
His work was meticulous, clean, and efficient, and he treated my home with the utmost respect.
On top of his technical expertise, Tom brings a calm, reassuring presence that makes even the most stressful plumbing issues feel manageable. He’s honest, communicative, and clearly takes pride in doing the job right.
His helper John was also excellent and I’m incredibly grateful for their help and will absolutely be calling them again for all my future plumbing needs.

If you're looking for good genuine technicians, good place for business, people thats going to be honest and fare minded, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. I normally don't do this but I was so heartbroken I had to.My wife schedule a maintenance service on our boiler to be clean because it was blowing out a small amount of soot. How nieve of me to assume this job should cost around $500 give or take. Only to be told by the technician at Astar, that to do a maintenance service and clean out the soot is going to cost a wapping $3400 and to make matters worst He ( technician) said with doing all of that service the boiler may not work efficiently, so he suggested getting a brand new boiler system. So now my emotions are running high I have small children at the house and the temperature is really getting worst, plus no hot water to shower. So the next day the sales representative came by and qoute us 20,900 for a new boiler system to be installed. Yep thats right $20,900 thats not a typo. Now I'm in full panic mode. NO HEAT, NO HOT WATER, KIDS ARE COLD,Just portable space heater being use to stay warm. Thanks for my credit not being up to par I dodge a bullet. I then told the sales representative,thanks but we'll contact him when we can gather the amount together. Puzzled I called another heating and plumbing company CR WOLFE for a second opinion they were able to come that same day, explain the problem over again. Long story short, they were able to provide maintenance and clean the soot from my boiler for less than $430. What if all was well and my credit was in good standings.. SMH. Astar you need to do better and stop over charging hard working families thats trying to make ends meet. Life is already hard as is you don't need to make it any harder. DO BETTER. No need to try and take advantage of innocent people. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!
I’ve been using Astar for several years now and am always very satisfied with their service. They have installed an entire HVAC system, changed all my plumbing valves, perform yearly inspections for heating, A/C, and plumbing under my Comfort Care contract, and most recently installed a new toilet. That technician was Albert Kehoe. As are all their employees, he was thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He went above and beyond to insure the job was completed to my satisfaction. I am very happy with this company and I highly recommend them.

Astar team they sent to me was assume. Polite , kind ,understanding. They had a very tight area to work in, no complaining went right to work . They stayed late, first day working to insure us we had heat. The next day they gave us a time , though someone needed them more. Which we understood , we had heat minus hot water we could deal with that and they promised to be back that afternoon . They arrived, and finished the job .Though before leaving, they went over everything again . From Aaron, Rich, gregg, john, matt, kent.and those in the office we thank so much and i highly reccomend this company 10 stars not 5.
Not off to a good start!
Called Astar last week and signed up for their ASTAR—Comfort Care Club membership.
I had an appointment scheduled for today, November 7, 2025.
I was told last week that I would get a call the day of with an approximate time frame (window).
Did not receive an email or text today.
Called the company.
Connected with a bot (Sara) 🤖 who was basically useless.
Then I received a call from a customer service representative who told me that the tech is coming to my house today.
A little while later, I received a call from another customer service representative who told me that I have to reschedule due to other customers not having heat.
I hired your company based on the customer reviews which are excellent.
I rescheduled for next Friday.
Hopefully, moving forward, my next scheduled appointments are adhered to.
