  Overall I’m happy with our carpet, but there were some major mishaps that led to this 3 star review. My initial visit with the owner/sales guy was great. We had a tight timeline & had to use whatever they had in stock—luckily what they had worked for my home & budget. The installers did an OK job. I do not like how they did some of the room transitions. For example: the kitchen (linoleum) to living room (carpet) transition has a very hard, thick piece of metal running under the carpet and our feet often get bumped when stepping on it. I called 4 times after the installation to ask for someone to come out and fix it, each time they said they’d send someone but no one ever came. The installers also weren’t able to vacuum before they left, so I had to do that part as well as trimming up all the stray carpet strings. Bit of a workout! The most egregious mistake was covering the heating vent in one of the bedrooms. The install was in summer, right before we moved in, when fall came & it was time to turn on the heater … we couldn’t find the vent in this room. What a mystery! It wasn’t until my dad, who’s a contractor, came by & helped us discover the hidden vent. We cut the carpet and fixed everything up. But, what an insane mistake to make!

  Don used his many years of experience in flooring as well as awesome ingenuity to resolve a unique issue with a portion of laminate floor that Carpet Source installed for me over 10 years ago. That's what I call a fantastic warranty! Perhaps their new motto could be,"We've got you covered.... Not only carpet, but laminate , vinyl, etc... with a REAL warranty!" They are my 'go to guys' when it comes to floor covering. The convenience of having many choices of different kinds floor coverings come to your home where samples can be viewed in your home. Where light can change colors with the time of day affecting the ambiance of a room. With the help of experts your choice can be made confidently.

  I had my floors done with Express Flooring and even though I love my carpet I probably won't be doing business with them for the last two rooms when my husband retires in 2.5 years. I had so much of a runaround experience when this project started on October 17th and finally finished this past Tuesday. First they suspected aspestos when they cut the carpet as I had chosen LVP in my 1959 house. They stopped the demo leaving my house dusty and carpets rolled up. I had to call them back to put the carpet back since I have Arthritis. Came back positive for Aspestos they installers left a little mirror broken leg that has sentimental value and scratches on the dresser drawer. They took off the last room and were going to put full price and raised the price even though I was able to compromise on not getting full price. They got Kilz on my furniture and bathroom cabinets. The final straw was when they plugged my outdoor cable to my DVR to my tv and I lost satellite connection and had to wait until the next day for the Dish Technician. I spoke to Eppi and Don about my experience with this company they were quite empathetic which I got no apology from Express Flooring only invalidated when I mentioned the tv saying this didn't happen to other customers. Eppi and Don offered to come out and answer questions for me but I didn't want to take advantage of there kindness since my purchase is 2 5 years down the road

  Don, I would like to thank you for the beautiful work and amazing experience we had from The Carpet Source. Your installer must be the best installer in the state! I am the owner of a roofing and stucco company, and I understand the importance of good clean work with great customer service, and you delivered both. The project was not small, from removing our upstairs builder grade carpet that was in terrible shape in our 7-year-old home, removing the base boards, sanding down the high spots in the wood and pouring floor level to ensure the floating wood floor would tie together beautifully. We found out the stairs were OSB (plywood) and not 2" by 10" so the installer reinforced all 16 steps with 2 landings to ensure proper installation. Besides the carpet starting to wear out, my wife started suffering from a chronic cough about 8 months ago and she was miserable! The doctors could not figure out what was wrong so out of desperation we thought maybe the dust, dirt and deterioration of the carpet was the culprit. We called the Carpet Source and Don Lovato came out and helped us choose a great product to replace the cheap carpet we had and now that the job is complete my wife has not coughed nor needed the nebulizer since! The results where instant Thank you Don! We will forever be grateful!

  Don Lovato, Owner, is a friendly, personal guy who knows his business! It was terrific having Don come to the house to show carpet samples and talk about the install. Jason came today and did a stellar job installing and cleaning up. We chose a patterned carpet for the guest room and dressing area. The finished product is lovely and makes the rooms look high class. Don was referred by a friend and we would like to refer him to you if you are reading this review.
