  Brian was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He provided excellent routine service on our tankless hot water heater, and answered all our questions thoroughly and patiently.

  Response to Broadly reply - You are correct that I did approve the work to be completed. As mentioned to your Service Manager, this service call was coordinated via phone as I was not at my home. I had no idea the cost of the thermostat and needed the work to be completed. Only after I requested a detailed invoice which showed a single line item, did I research the actual cost of the thermostat and average cost of installation. That is when I realized the ridiculous the price of the job. Lesson learned on my part. Original Post Unfortunately, I needed an emergency repair and was more than willing to pay the extra $175 fee. What shocked me was the $380 fee to replace a $40 thermostat. I understand the need for markup to store inventory and the cost for maintaining equipment and staff but this is an outrageous markup. When I called for an explanation of the cost, I was informed it is a flat rate cost and this is “average”. If you DOUBLE the cost of the equipment, it means I paid $300 for a 30 minute job. This was a basic, manual thermostat (not tied to Wi-Fi), not a new installation. When I called other firms, they indicate cost would range between $100 and $200 for installation plus the cost of the unit. At most, this should have cost $280 not $380. Beware of costly repairs when using this company.

  Oh my gosh just popped down the shore and realized I had no hot water. Made a call to broadley's plumbing and James came right out. Turn the pilot light on. I do have hot water for tonight but the water heaters are at the end of their life. So tomorrow they will install two new water heaters. James is very professional with all his knowledge and experience. Made me feel very comfortable and agreeing to two new water heaters. A girl needs hot water not to be in hot water! Today James and Kyle installed two new water heaters. Very quick and efficient. Did not lose a lot of heat. Very professional installers. Checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was okay. A correction. I did have hot water last night but we didn't know how long it would last. Thank you, thank you. Thank you for the two new water heaters! And we got it in on time. Goodbye 2025 hello 2026!

  I recently hired Broadley’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning to handle a significant project: installing 2 new furnaces for my two-story home in addition to installing new energy efficient flexible ductwork for my 2nd floor unit in the attic. The process began with a consultation to assess the specific heating requirements of a two-floor layout. They provided expert advice on selecting an appropriately sized unit that would ensure even heat distribution across both levels including recommended insulated energy efficient flexible duct work for the attic unit. Broadley’s sent out two separate crews. The work was handled with expertise focused on the technical 2-furnace integration while managing the ductwork adjustments. The work was careful, navigating the furnaces through my finished home as well as the flexible attic ductwork. Surfaces were protected. Once the installation was complete and the system was tested the old units and ductwork were removed from the house. They additionally registered my units with the manufacturer. I recommend Broadley’s for their technical professionalism and thoroughness.

  Regarding customer service, professionalism and all-round great person to represent Broadley's, Geoff is an MVP.  He has been coming to my house for years.  Every time he visits, he helps educate me about things I need to be aware of regarding maintenance and service.   I've even seen him written about in the Philadelphia Inquirer regarding winterizing your plumbing.  I wasn't surprised to see such a knowledgeable person speaking on behalf of Broadley's.  Thank you Geoff for giving me such confidence in the company that I partner with protect and maintain my home.
