I recently used NJ Construction for an interior painting project. Ramon did an excellent (and fast) job and was the nicest person! I’m looking forward to contacting them for future projects.

I noticed a leak in my ceiling and called New Jersey Construction to check it out. What I thought was a small issue turned out to be significant roof damage. They came out quickly, gave me a thorough inspection, and explained everything clearly. What really impressed me was how fair their price was and they were able to schedule the full roof replacement the very next day. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and completed the entire job in one day. They were respectful of my property and did a great cleanup afterward. My new roof looks great and I finally have peace of mind. Can’t thank New Jersey Construction enough for their roofing services! Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions About New Jersey Construction

When Do I Need a New Roof?

There are several signs that indicate it may be time to replace your roof. Look out for these common signs: 1. Age of the Roof: Most roofs last between 20 to 25 years. If your roof is approaching this age, it might be time for a replacement. 2. Visible Damage: Look for cracked, curled, or missing shingles. If you notice significant wear and tear, a new roof might be necessary. 3. Leaks and Water Damage: If you find water stains on your ceiling or walls, it may be due to leaks in your roof, signaling the need for a replacement. 4. Granules in Gutters: Asphalt shingles shed granules over time. If you find an accumulation of granules in your gutters, it’s a sign your roof is deteriorating. 5. Sagging Roof: A sagging roof is a serious issue, often indicating structural problems that require a new roof. 6. Energy Efficiency Issues: If your home feels drafty or you’re experiencing higher energy bills, it could be due to roof inefficiency.

How Much is the Average Cost of a New Roof?

The cost of a new roof can vary greatly depending on several factors, such as roof size, materials, and labor. On average, homeowners in the U.S. can expect to pay anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 for a new roof. However, this can be higher or lower depending on the following: • Material Choice: Asphalt shingles are typically the most affordable, while materials like metal, tile, or slate can cost significantly more. • Roof Size: The larger the roof, the higher the cost due to the amount of material and labor required. • Roof Pitch and Complexity: A steep or complex roof design may require more time and effort to install, increasing the price. • Geographic Location: Roofing prices can vary depending on where you live due to labor costs and material availability. For a more accurate estimate, it’s best to schedule a consultation with a licensed roofing contractor to assess your home’s needs.
