- HPHarry PomeroyDec 17, 20253.0I hate leaving bad reviews. I just bought a home in South Jersey and it has a well, with Pure Water Solutions sticker on it. I called them, and set up an appointment to have it serviced. The guys came out and wouldn't service it since it was 20 years old, told me that it exceeded its life expectancy, and the tanks needed to be replaced- a $3600 job. They didn't want to work on it because they were worried that parts may break due to the age, which I guess is understandable. I called another local company for a second opinion, and they came out quickly, serviced my unit, tested everything, cleaned it, and told me nothing was wrong with it at all. Told me they have all the parts needed for the type of well if anything happened to it. If it got clogged, they could have taken it out, emptied the tanks and repacked them for an additional fee. Maybe its this companies protocol that they wont service wells after they have reached a certain age- but I kinda feel like they were just trying to scare me into buying a new system, which is rather upsetting- especially a week before Christmas. Needless to say, I will not be using this company, and would warn new homeowners or anyone for that matter, to be careful dealing with them if you have an older unit, and ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION. Three stars because I feel bad for leaving two

They came out on a Tuesday to give us an estimate and the system was installed the following Friday. They did a beautiful job and were in and out in no time. Pricing was VERY competitive.
