The low rating has nothing to do with the tech (who did his job) and everything to do with the company. I called twice to confirm pricing and the agents on the phone led me to believe the flat fee included a diagnostic. It does not. It costs 150$ to just get a tech to come to the door (for a non urgent call no less) and then it’s 180$ for the tech to even look at the problem. Before getting any work done, I was already out 350$ with taxes. I thought I had done my due diligence calling around and getting estimates; I was left feeling scammed and pretty foolish.

Cannot say enough good things about the 2 guys that came by to fix our electrical issues (Joseph and apologies for forgetting the other guy's name) right before the holidays.
We had an entire wall of outlets that was not working, which they expertly diagnosed and resolved. During the investigation we also found a much more extensive issue with our circuit breaker panel, which never would've been found if it weren't for these guys. Got a quote, never rushed, and felt great about the overall experience.
Will definitely be giving these folks a call back at a later date and hoping to do more business with them down the line!

Have had several issues with the HVAC system they installed 3 years ago. Currenlty they are trying to charge $300 for a filter that costs $50 for a 4 pack and also tried to tell me that a broken hose in the humidifier will cost $500-700 to fix. The hose itself only costs $18. I could not get a manager on the phone and the technician was "unable to get a hold of their manager" even though the office said they should have a direct line of contact with a manager.

This is for an estimate to install an outside bathroom fan.
The technician quoted several thousand dollars, and explained we also needed a roofer because he didn’t do that work. The work would involve complicated ceiling work, and cutting a hole through the roof.
We decided to get a second estimate for this work. As it turned out, there was existing venting in the attic going to an existing hole in the roof. It was lying under some insulation, but the venting infrastructure was there already. All that was needed was some duct replacement!!!
Paying for the estimate at Princeton HVAC seemed reasonable, but in hindsight, I payed for someone who couldn’t spot the existing venting infrastructure and gave a quote to install new venting infrastructure.
This is complete incompetence. It is the first time I feel ripped off for paying for an estimate.
The lowest number of starts is 1 before this review can be posted. Zero is more appropriate though.

It is 10 day since Princeton Air came in. We still do not have heat and they do not communicate the status of the part needed. I need to call every day. The latest response was the part is delayed. They also initially refused to honor my parts and labor contract. After repeated calls they determined we were covered for parts and labor and they credited the $638 they charged me to order the part. I have been with Princeton air since 1991 and never have had trouble with them. Also, PS&G has the part and will repair immediately but I don’t have a contract so the cast will be $750.
