  Dealing with Legacy Plumbing was one of the most ridiculous experiences we’ve had in a while. The receptionist was great and got us scheduled quickly, so no issue there. We just needed a couple simple things fixed — our kitchen faucet was leaking, and our tub spout was dripping more than it should, when the shower was engaged. I figured it might cost $400–$600 total. Boy, was I wrong, at least by Legacy's estimates. About 20 minutes after they arrived, my wife texted saying, “They’re out in the truck making a proposal and said to call you when they come back in.” That already felt weird. When they returned, they launched into a sales pitch for nearly every plumbing item in the house — new faucets, toilets, sump pumps, water heater, piping — you name it. The estimate? Almost $27,000. For a 10-year-old house with zero plumbing issues in the past! We didn’t ask for, nor were we interested in, any of that — we just wanted our two small issues fixed. Maybe they were trying to be “thorough,” but it came off like one of those car repair shops where you go in for an oil change and somehow leave with a list of thousands in “recommended” repairs you don’t need. I stopped the guy mid-pitch and asked for just the faucet and tub spout costs — $1300+. That’s when I decided I’d figure it out myself. A $5 tub spout repair kit and a $160 faucet later, I had both issues fixed in about an hour. To top it off, they still charged us $60 for the “visit.” We thought they were coming to do the repairs, not spend an hour pitching a remodel. When I asked if we’d be charged again if they came back to make the 2 original repairs, he said, “Oh, we sometimes waive that.” Sure, when people ask about it. They probably could've just fixed the 2 issues in the same amount of time they were writing up their whole-house plumbing proposal. Right after that, I called another local plumber, Jeff’s Plumbing, to talk through the same issues. They estimated around $200–$300 in labor for both repairs (with me providing a new tub spout and kitchen faucet, about $200 in supplies). Huge difference — and they were very pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to. Looking at Legacy? Try somewhere else.
