  As a single elderly (haha at 65) woman, I searched for someone to help with the simplest of tasks, with the opportunity to pick up additional bigger projects in the future and Ace was the PLACE for sure. The professionalism and thoroughness of the work made the whole experience wonderful. Everyone knows how stressful it is during a big move and Ace Handyman Services took the first level of stress away by helping me get my place set up. From hanging curtain rods to securing and installing a gorgeous vintage dining room light fixture, it was all 5 stars! I was just referring this group to new tenants yesterday as they were moving in and asking for help on move in projects. Thanks again. Look forward to calling you in the future.

  In a market where it can be difficult to find home construction/repair services, they were very timely in their response and scheduling. They are also easy to work with .

  Needed some drywall installed and finished with a Knockdown texture. Thomas was a true craftsman and did an excellent job.

  Doug from Ace Handyman was on time and professional. He had to order new rollers for the sliding porch door and so serviced the existing so they would work while waiting for the new parts, which was very helpful. New parts arrived, were quickly installed, and the door leveled and in perfect working order. Exactly what we were looking for.

  We hired Ace Handyman to install a shower enclosure , floor pan and glass doors in July 2025. I had purchased all materials and prepared the bathroom for installation. Thomas showed up at 3:00 and worked until 8:00pm the install was not completed. We were terribly disappointed in the quality of his work. We contacted Dianna and told her of the situation. She was pleasant and stated we guarantee our work. They sent Thomas back with another employee to look at the situation. He had back issues but told Thomas he had to remove the enclosure completely and reinstall it. Again the shower was all installed incorrectly. Seams of walls were not tight holes drilled in wrong places doors did not close correctly. It was a mess now we needed a new enclosure due to damage and the glass doors were chipped and framework cut and drilled in the wrong places. Mike the owner stated he would replace my shower enclosure completely. He called me and said he was sending his best crew to install it on a Saturday morning. I have cameras to see what was happening when we were not there, no installers showed up. I received a call from an employee he stated they had gone to 3 Lowes to purchase and replace the enclosure. No one had it in stock. Mike knew this was to be purchased he scheduled the work. Now they said we will tile it for you sent samples to match my enclosure I had wanted. We were fine with it. We just wanted it done for this is a vacation home. We had family and friends to come visit us. Then Mike tells us it will be the end of October-November before he can get back to tile it. This is crazy the season will be over we were very disappointed. He hired a company finally to tile it look’s great we are thankful but again never completed the job . No doors installed this project started in July now 4 months later we are unable to use the shower all plumbing fixture’s and drain are not installed just tiled walls. Now Mike the owner stated he is over it . Told me I had to find someone to finish it. I’m 325 miles away I’m not familiar with contractors in Lake Toxaway NC. To say we are upset is an understatement. Dianna was always pleasant and repeated over and over we guarantee our work. She was put in the middle between Mike and me. She was my only contact for 3 1/2 months trying to get my shower installed correctly. She was aware of my frustration but was my hope . We ran into Mike at Mica’s he was at the bar just 2 weeks ago. He spoke to us asked about our shower. We were brief but told him we were waiting to get the shower done. He said he had someone to take care of it. We were pleasant as was he. Today he was not accused me of being disrespectful and cussing at him when I said “ Mike what the hell am I going to do now”? This is not the way to do business. I can not recommend Ace Hardware Handyman to anyone. I would not want anyone to have this miserable experience . They do not guarantee their work. Yes I have a tiled shower that I can’t use.
