  Mauricio has been out to our house a few times over the winter for different issues and is always very professional. We appreciate his hard work and recommend Byrum Heating & Air. I even called a few times after hours to schedule appointments and they were very prompt to call me back and I never felt pressured to purchase other services, which I have encountered frequently with other companies in the past. Pricing is very reasonable and we haven’t had to worry about any surprise costs.

  Excellent service. They communicate with you who your tech is and when he's arriving. Our tech, Dillion, was knowledgeable, and pleasant. He was through in checking "all" the system and making necessary repairs. Highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.

  Although their office service and service technicians are very good, I feel their pricing policies are not customer friendly. I recently had to pay $940 to replace a heat pump coil that was UNDER WARRANTY. I was 1st told that the service call that took place just before the replacement would "probably" be waived; it wasn't. Also, when I asked for a breakdown of the estimate, I was just told it was based on 5 hrs. of labor. The replacement went very smoothly, and took a little less than 3 hrs. When I asked about an adjustment, I was told the price was final. After expressing my disappointment, they offered a free tune up. Again, not very customer friendly.

Service Date: December, 2025 Total Attempted Scam Value: $1,000.00 (Prevented) Actual Repair Cost: $2.00 Wrench ​This review is a severe warning about Bymun Heating & AC Inc.'s predatory pricing practices, especially once they realize a customer may have homeowner's insurance. ​The Incident: ​Initial Visit & Quote: We paid the $90 service call fee because our heat was out and it was freezing outside. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue as a loose blower motor and quoted us $350, parts and labor included, to complete the repair. ​The Price Hike Trigger: When I informed the representative that I needed to call my homeowner's insurance company to arrange payment, their entire demeanor changed. They immediately became agitated and stated they don't work with insurance. I told them I would pay out-of-pocket and seek reimbursement, and simply needed an invoice detailing the serial number and reason for repair. ​The Inflated Final Quote: The next morning, instead of receiving the invoice, we were called and informed that the repair price had been increased from $350 to $1,000 for the exact same job (loose blower motor). This extreme price jump happened immediately after the mention of insurance, suggesting a clear attempt to price-gouge and take advantage of our urgent situation and perceived insurance coverage. ​The Simple Truth (A DIY Fix): ​The company's quote was not only dishonest but exploitative. Desperate for heat, I followed a four-minute online tutorial for fixing a loose blower motor. I found that the issue was just a single loose nut on the center bracket. I tightened it with a $2 wrench, and the unit was immediately fixed. I am a server at a restaurant, a women desperately needing heat with no prior HVAC experience, yet I fixed the issue that this "professional" company quoted us $1,000 for. ​Conclusion: ​Bymun Heating & AC Inc. operates by hiking prices to unreasonable and fraudulent levels the moment they detect a potential insurance reimbursement. They prey on desperate situations (like families without heat in the cold) and attempt to exploit homeowner's insurance. ​Do not use this company. Seek services elsewhere or risk being scammed out of hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for a simple fix. Walked in with no flash light no tools nothing, "Oh yeah I hear what it is" without even looking at it "it will 350 for parts and labor" than walked right back out. Than call its 1000 dollars. Come on serious could make more money actually fixing problems instead of overcharging people out hard earn money especially around the holidays. To fix something not even broken, to extort money is crazy. $90 dollars to come and be Sherlock Holmes without really investigating the problem is down right ridiculous, the fact you already had a price in you head of 350 to turn and around and come up with 1000 is complete finesse. 😉 The fact you came in my house seen little kids in here and tried to take advantage, I'm not going to even blame and use the race card, just plain greed and disgraceful disregard to our community. Probably got away with alot this Christmas. Hopefully this bring awareness to this small community anything is possible.
