Willett Electric was workig in our general area in Upper Crabtree - I happened to pass one of their vans, called them when yet another electical contractor failed to show for a quote. Dennis sent Matt by my house same day to look at our Kohler generator install. Matt checked out the job thoroughly, within a couple days I had a quote and after acceptance they put us in their schedule. Matt and Adam showed up, very polite, got to business, and voila, generator wired and ready to go. No drama, quick turnaround on a quote, and Matt took care of business as I thought he would. This is what residential construction should be - but lately this is not the norm, I guess due to the boom. Dennis handles his business like a real business. I would highly recommend, and based on what I've seen, he's one of the very few people, along with Matt, that can wrap their heads around a Generac transfer switch and a Kohler generator via a PSP conversion kit. Kohler dealers were zero help and Generac was backed up thru Feb since October. Thank you Willette for handling business and customers the way they should be handled. 5 stars.

Called 5/16/16 to line up an estimate for a 200A service upgrade. Spoke to the owner, Dennis Willett. He advised me it wouldn't be a problem, and could come by the next day, 5/17/16 to give us an estimate.
My wife made sure to stay around the house all day, but we never saw or heard from anyone. At about 5:15pm that day, he called, apologizing that he wouldn't be able to make our estimate that day. He set up a window on the next day, 5/18/16 before 1pm since my wife had doctor's appointments with our children.
On 5/18/16, the window until 1pm came and went, with no one showing up, or any calls to let us know what was going on. That should have been the red flag to move on to another company.
On 5/19/16, I happened to be off work, so I texted Mr. Willett at 2:31pm and asked why no one had showed for an estimate. At 5:17pm, Mr. Willett replied asking if anyone was home now, which we were, so he responded that he would come by. He did show up shortly after, looking things over and quoting us a price, which I immediately agreed to since I needed the work done ASAP. We agreed that they would come back and do the work on my next off day, which was 5/25/16, assuming I picked up any other hardware required for the job, which I did procure in time.
On the date of the planned upgrade, we waited patiently for someone to show up, which they never did. At 10:16am, I texted Mr. Willett to confirm our work scheduled for that day. He immediately called and said he wouldn't be able to make it, since they had to go back on the hotel project they were working on, and asked if they could come do the work first thing (9am) on 5/26/16. That should have killed the deal right there, but being the patient and understanding person I am, I begrudgingly agreed, and called my boss to get my schedule changed and take an unforeseen vacation day on 5/26/16.
On 5/26/16, I got up, got dressed for work, and assumed Willett Electric would not show up. I had arranged with my boss if by 9:30am they were not at my home to do the work, that I would be coming in and working a late shift. As I suspected, 9am came and went. I texted Mr. Willett to not bother coming by to do the work, I would find someone else to do the work, to which he replied "10-4". I went on in to work, disgusted.
Consequently, I give Willett Electric a one-star rating. This is a very poor way to handle business. If you are too busy doing other projects, why bother giving estimates and making commitments? Fortunately, word of mouth goes a long way in the internet age, so I advise you to take your business elsewhere!
