Talk about efficiency!!! After calling more than 20 HVAC companies all morning trying to get service for a commercial unit at our shop, TRG was the only one able to step up. Honestly, I had my doubts…if everyone else couldn’t handle the challenge, what made this company different? But man… they proved me so wrong.
Brandon, our tech, showed up in the afternoon and immediately demonstrated a level of professionalism that’s extremely rare nowadays. He was incredibly knowledgeable, eager to work, and even took the time to explain what he was diagnosing as he went. It’s easy to feel like some tradesmen try to take advantage.. upsell you, overcharge, or push things you don’t need. That was absolutely NOT the case with Brandon.
I walked away with full confidence in his work and genuinely impressed with the service overall. If this is the standard TRG sets for all their technicians, then they’re hands-down unmatched in the industry.

Tom did an excellent job diagnosing the problem with the heat. It was disturbing to find out that it was an installation issue! But what is most disturbing is to find out that the installers did not put a place for filter?!! There was a 25x20x1 filter in the old unit. Tom plans to quote an upgrade to allow for a larger filter 3" or 6". I don't mind paying for this upgrade but hope to get a discount for the previous mistake. Tom is the best, answered by questions, and will to discuss options.

We spent $10,000 on a new unit after being told our old system had “run its course.” You’d think for that price we’d receive top-notch service and installation. Instead, what we got was a masterclass in incompetence and indifference.
Let’s start with installation day: the crew left behind their uniform tops and bootie covers, and even managed to damage our wall. They came out to patch it, but that was just the beginning of the nightmare.
Shortly after installation, we were hosting 30 guests for a birthday party, and guess what? The brand-new system didn’t work. It was 90 degrees outside, and inside wasn’t much better. The first technician came out, casually said the vents “weren’t open,” commenced to bend the vents in our entire house, and then left. Spoiler: the system still didn’t work. A second technician eventually discovered that the damper hadn’t been installed correctly. Unbelievable.
Fast forward to October, when we turned on the heat for the first time to just take the chill out of the house. Surprise, surprise — it didn’t work either. Another technician came out and found that valves hadn’t been installed correctly. The unit had actually shut itself down because it was taking on water.
Here’s the worst part: not once throughout this entire ordeal has the manager or owner bothered to call, apologize, or offer any kind of discount or gesture for the repeated inconvenience and their sloppy work. For a company that claims to be a “trusted local service,” the lack of accountability is astounding.
The technicians were really apologetic and the girl that answers the phone was very apologetic as well. But, between the botched installation, repeated system failures, and lack of quality control I wouldn’t trust Triangle Repair Group to install a box fan, let alone a $10K HVAC system.
Save yourself the headache and frustration — go with literally anyone else.
