Last Winter my wife and I were woken up by this loud banging in the wall. I thought it was a leak up in the attic where the HVAC unit is. No, nothing. The unit was under warranty, so we called the builders. After months of supervisors, HVAC companies, you name it, we had so many folks come out to try and figure this out, but no one could figure it out. We just started turning the unit off at night and freezing instead of not getting any sleep. Finally Spring came and we didn't have to run the heat. Then 2025 Winter starts and here we go again! After a few months of not getting sleep, I decided to reach out to another company. The receptionist was awesome and said we would get to the bottom this, and I'm so sorry you are going through this. We scheduled service and our tech came out. Anthony was tremendous. I loved everything about him. His demeanor, his knowledge and just his quiet manner. He asked if I wanted to see what he was going to do and I said sure. We went outside and he proceeded to do a series of test, all the while explaining to me what he was doing and why he was doing it. I knew right away he knew what he was doing and I knew he was honest. He said, the outside unit is fine, let me take another look inside. As usual I was not able to duplicate the noise for him, only a prerecorded tape. (digital) I stayed by the ladder in case he needed something. He yelled out, go in your bedroom and see if you hear this. Yes, that's it, what is that? After all this time and so many other "experts" no one bothered to check the cooper lines that run from outside to inside the unit. There was a run that was unsecure and it was banging up against the 2 x 4 that made up the rafters. He spent about 30 minutes securing that line and for two nights now, we have not heard a sound! We will call no one else for our HVAC needs and I will be sure to tell everyone about this experience. It's hard to find competent, qualified companies these days. Trust me, we've experienced this in the past, you pay for them to tell you we can't find the problem and leave. It didn't take them very long to figure it out and get it fixed! Thanks so much for this great service!
