I would highly recommend Slabworks of Montana. Over the course of nine months I asked question after question. All were answered timely and factually. I really was impressed by the people that laid out the stone. They were able to artfully lay out the orientation so as to maximize the beauty of the surface. The planning of the selection of stone, templating, fabrication and installation were exactly when a Julia said they would be. This was quite a treat by the time a homeowner is at end of a build where that had not happened in some of the other trades. I was terribly selective about the nature of the stone. They have a great selection in their yard! I would recommend Slabworks every time! Great job!

I ordered a slab for a home project, provided all cut details, picked up the slab, and installed it myself. I was a little concerned about giving precise measurements or leaving a little wiggle room (a little room would be better than a little large). I decided to be precise and was very pleased with the accuracy of their work. When picking up the slab, they were super helpful getting it loaded into my truck. When I got home, the slab slid right into place perfectly as hoped. After install I noticed that there was a mild blemish to the polish on one corner of the slab, but they came to my place and polished it up to perfection without hesitation. Slabworks fully deserve this 5-star review and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

When shopping for slabs for a home project, we were lucky enough to work with Sarah at Slabworks of Montana. She was engaged and concerned with getting details of the design correct, and was kind enough to search for solutions when a remnant we liked was not large enough for the project. Although we did not end up going through this company (as we found a perfect slab elsewhere), we will check with them first for any future stone needs. I really like their ability to manufacture various finishes in-house, and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Dave and his team were great to work with. They outfitted our kitchen and outdoor pavilion with beautiful, high quality fusion quartzite stone that enhances the environment for all users. We are grateful for their support and community engagement. We highly recommend Slabworks of Montana!

Frequently Asked Questions About Slabworks of Montana

How can I tell when to reseal my stone countertops?

The timing for resealing stone countertops varies depending on the material, age, and condition of the surface. A simple at-home test can help determine if it's time to reseal. Place a few water droplets on the most frequently used area, typically near the sink. If the water soaks in and darkens the counter within less than a minute, rather than remaining beaded, it's likely time for resealing. For more information or resealing services, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Does Slabworks of Montana do tearouts?

We don't provide countertop removal services. For optimal measurement accuracy when preparing for custom countertops, it's best if you or a contractor remove the old countertop before we create the template. However, if needed, we can work around the existing countertop to create the project template prior to its removal.
