- HSHenry Schepens1 day ago1.0Call them out for a stopped up washing machine drain. The guy trying to clean it charged me 590 something dollars. Did not fix the problem. Told me there's going to have to bust up my floors and run new drain pipes. Called another plumber. He came out. Charged me $120 that was 2 years ago. Drain still works. They will screw you. Just talked to my neighbor. Had a gas leak called high tide plumbing. They wanted $10,000 to refund their house. Got another plumber. Fixed it for $80. Had one nipple leaking. They are crooks do not use them

Had them come out for drainage issues. & they could not find my sewer clean out (I NOW know where it is but didn’t at the time bc this is a new to me house) so they had to go through the toilet … they charged me $730 just for a drain clean out & told me I needed 10,000$ or more worth of work including a demo of my bathroom. The tech encouraged me to file a claim with my insurance because it would “definitely be covered”. Called 2 separate companies out who then told me I needed none of that work done and that the 1 issue they found could’ve been repaired easily. Of course, high tide doesn’t agree with these assessments. They did offer me $150 refund but that doesn’t cover the amount of stress & worry they caused me for over a week. Feel like if they had just found the sewer clean out it could’ve been a better experience but the fact that they charge $700 just to use a camera and clean the pipes is outrageous in itself.
