I was fortunate, in that, I think the company must sent me their 2 best plumbers, Kelly & Will. They were both friendly and helpful. Kelly went out of his way to accommodate a disabled vet like myself - which was & is Much appreciated. Based on calls to the office with Kat and then Lexi who helped coordinate the process with humor & courtesy, I was treated well treated. Based on this Positive experience, I would unequivocally recommend the company and the particular individuals mentioned. Thank you. KM

Nino was super! He was able to immediately see the problem and corrected it, as well as pointing out to me what he was doing. Very professional and knowledgeable. The prior technician, who I feel made matters worse, acted inappropriately and unprofessional, not at all a good representative of your company. Nino did a great job and very satisfied.

My experience with this company is a plum disaster from beginning to end . I buy a new brand new generator and it comes to be installed and it doesn’t work sounds like a train running . The installer hit 2 different water lines and still didn’t get the generator work . Finally a week later someone showed up to get it running and its sounds terrible . And the manager Alex will not return any calls he’s a coward that puts innocent coworkers up to answering questions that he should . Alex if you think I’m giving 14,100 dollars away for junk you’re wrong . Terrible experience terrible way to treat customers. Alex will lie to the end to keep from addressing the problem. Customer service sucks here do not waste your money

I gave Tri State a detailed description of what was happening with our water softener prior to the technician showing up (which took multiple weeks to begin with). This is after they serviced the equipment in February which didn’t work. He showed up to work on the water softener but didn’t have any parts with him so couldn’t do any repairs. I then received a text with a new service date that didn’t work for our schedule. No call to coordinate a date that worked, just scheduled a date with no communication. When I called to let them know that date didn’t work, after being on hold for 20 minutes, they told me it would be three to four weeks before they could be back out. I informed the person on the phone that it was unacceptable, she stated she would talk to her manager and get back to me. Two days later still no call back or attempt to fix the water softener. I do not recommend Tri State for anything and would stay away if you expect your equipment to work properly or be fixed in a timely manner when it is not working properly. Will be leaving a review with google and yelp shortly. 11/03/25 update: Still no call from management or anyone else from Tro-State to address this issue even after the response below from last week stating someone would be contacting me. All issues above are still a problem. 11/05/25 update: Unbelievable! I received a call today to confirm the time that I informed Tri state wouldn’t work last week. The guy acted like this was new information and when I told home the situation he said the next available appointment is now two months out! I informed him again that this was unacceptable and a manager was supposed to call me. He deflected responsibility and said he would have a manager call me back (I’m not holding my breath). This has to be the worst customer service I have ever seen still with no resolution or call from management as promised both on the phone and by the original response as to this review. Please do not use Tri state, you will be dissatisfied with their service!

We were in need of a new toilet for one of the bathrooms in our house. We originally went to Lowe's, as I saw a sale price online. But we quickly remembered why we always buy from Home Depot instead, as Lowe's installation service involved being assigned to Angie's List and hoping that someone would randomly pick up the task. When we realized that we were in the middle of a nightmare, I quickly canceled the entire project. I immediately went back to Home Depot online, where I should have gone in the first place. Believe me when I tell you I will never make that mistake again. I looked up the information on the Home Depot website, I never went into a store, I spoke to someone over the phone about the specifics of what I needed, they took care of the purchase right then, and the representative explained exactly how the installation process would work. It was only a short time later that I received a phone call from this company outlining the scheduling process for me and a time was scheduled. I patiently waited and today was the installation date. A technician by the name of Will came out and took care of the old toilet removal and new toilet installation. You can tell that Will is very experienced and he knows what he is doing in every facet of his job. But more importantly, he is patient and he makes certain the job is done correctly. It's been a long time since I've met a plumber with such a caring attitude and then cleaning up after themselves carefully. I know now in the future not only where I will buy appliances again but also who I will call for any type of plumbing emergency. Good job Will!
