- JBJerry BlairNov 1, 20255.0We recently rented both a dump trailer for a week and a ride on lawn aerator for day from A-1 Rental in Columbia, MO. The whole experience was great! Good equipment that was like new and well maintained, ready to go to work when I picked it up. The dump trailer had it's own Honda engine to run the hydraulic lift so didn't have to worry about the battery running down or needing to be recharged day to day. No problem with lift capacity hauling loads of salvage metal to recycling or moving loads of rock and dirt. The aerator was great, easy to operate and efficient aerating approximately 7.5 acres in less than a day. I would suggest reserving the equipment so that you know it will be available when you need it, especially the aerator which is very popular this time of year among homeowners and landscapers. This equipment is not cheap to rent but it is worth it compared to buying it (when you only occasionally need it) or trying to do the job with much less efficient equipment.
