Austin from Randy’s was great on the house inspection. he was thorough and had some suggestions for us. No emergencies but just a few things to consider. so far we’ve been super happy with Randy’s. Prior we had Tyler from there put in a subpanel and ev charger. all working great.

Austin was great! He was timely and knowledgeable. When I set up the appt they gave me a price of $79. What I learned- that was the price of the trip charge. For the electrician to verify two outlets were properly working - it was $351 total. I think the call center needs to do a better job of communicating the trip charge vs the job charge. When I explained what I needed done there was no mention that it was going to be so expensive. It was a 15 min appt. This has nothing to do with Austin who serviced the job - he did a great job.

Long time Randy’s customer no more! This was the worse experience I have ever had with a contractor. The most time they spent at my home was walking around and then in their van putting different cost estimates together based on what the problem could be because they don’t touch a thing now until you agree to pay some exorbitant amount of money. Not at all the Randy’s I was used to working with. I literally had another an outlet that stopped working and they quoted me $300-$600. Without knowing anything about it! It could have just been replacing the outlet, no wiring. That would have been $300. The best part was, I signed agreeing to that minimum because I already paid the trip charge and needed the outlet to work, so they unscrewed the plate, and miraculously thought, well maybe we should check the switch on the wall that feeds the electric. Sure enough-it was ‘off’ so the outlet was perfectly fine but turned ‘off’. But you guessed it, because they used their screwdriver to literally take the faceplate off the wall-THAT WAS IT-I was charged $300!!! A customer that has used them many, many times. Including to switch out my entire house from fuses when I moved in-a week long, thousands of dollars of work. Guess what-never again. This is exactly how you lose customer loyalty, when you go into their homes with crappy salesman that are in it for the money. How disappointing. Shame on you Randy’s!

Travis was awesome to have come and look at our new home. He answered all our questions, got us set up with our requested future services, and took the time to inspect everything to make sure it's safe and explained everything to us in a way we could understand. Requesting him for all future electrical work.

LOST MONEY AND WAITING FOR RESPONSE: I had a mixed experience with Randy's Electric regarding my recent service appointment. Bateman was scheduled to come on October 27th, but unfortunately, the tenant was absent, and he couldn't access the property. The following day, Brian Ringgenberg arrived and provided the necessary service. He was very professional and informed me that there would be no charge for the missed appointment on October 27th since it was so close to the previous day and that it would all be consolidated into a single bill for the current service, which involved assessing the situation and changing some fuses. However, I encountered an issue when I checked my credit card statement a week later. To my surprise, I noticed that I had been double charged for the service. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I am still waiting for a resolution regarding the refund of $199.00. While the initial service was satisfactory, the double charge and the ongoing delays in resolving this issue have left me quite frustrated. I hope they can address this problem promptly and improve their customer service. I did see that you have just refunded the $199 as of today 12/16/2025 after I had to post this type of message on 12/14/2025. It should not have to come to this for someone to acknowledge my issue after several attempts to contact someone within the establishment and being told that I would get information the same day each time.
