  A couple of switches needed to be replaced and diagnostics done with the electrical system since some of my outlets were dead My houses had several renovations and Some work was done by amateurs. Nick and Sean did detective work and came up with answers I’m very pleased with the service and also the friendliness of the electricians

He was very knowledgeable and took the time explain the scope of the work. I have confidence and trust that they will do the work well when the time comes.

  We recently had Randy's install upper and lower cabinet LED lighting in our kitchen, and we could not be more pleased. Greg planned and quoted the project. We had some changes in the lower lighting levels, and it was delivered exactly as we asked. Greg and Ryan did the install in a day. The wiring and lighting install was clean and worked perfectly. We absolutely love it. See photo attached. To cover all the bases, we also had Randy's plumbing group install a new water softener/filter system and swap out flowtite shutoffs for proper compression fit quarter turn units. Patrick and team showed up and completed the work in an afternoon. Again, professional great work.

  I was reminded that ANY business that requires a fee for a quote will have the highest bid than ANYONE out there. Jeremy the licensed electrician quoter was kind, but it was obvious he was playing a role like he wanted to find me the " best price" and even trying to make an easy project look complicated, like oh, not sure this can be done, gee. He was not a new licensed electrician. The project was to add a space heater (already purchased by me at Menards with a dial on the space heater itself, no extra cabeling, also I understood project and requirements as I have done my own electrical in the past) The project was to install a 72 inch baseboard electric 240 volt heater in our sunroom with the electrical panel kiddy corner under the location through the wall. I informed the licensed quoter that I needed him to drill a hole, run new Romax (max 8 to 10 foot of 12-2 Romax cable), then add a double switch already mapped out on the panel and setting up the space heater on the wall. The job would have taken him at the absolute most 2 to 3 hours. He had a touchpad computer quote system app which seemed to be a standard Randy Electric quote app, he pointed and said I'd like to get this done for you as soon as possible, quoting me almost $1800. I told him his price was too high, he said that electricians get paid at least $150 an hour now, not like in the past $40, likec n 2008, he said. I have hired contractors before, $150 an hour already is quite excessive. The job would have taken him 3 hours!! Even at that rate with supplies, a rough in permit and final inspection permit, which is all done online state fees for this single permit would have been less than $200, his hours pretend he needed 4 hours ($600) with a generous amount for supplies (8-10 feet of 12/2 Romex, a double 20amp switch ) at $180 total high cost $980. What was he giving himself a $900 tip besides charging a crazy amount per hour? Then after being told he would send me the quote via email, he charged me his $75 quote fee? For what? A high quote that had no bearing on the scope of work? It has been over 3.5 hours no quote, even though he had everything on his computer ready for me sign. I feel robbed of my time and $75. To be gaslit and lied too on actual real costs? Ridiculous. Giving a 2 because he showed up on time and was polite. Do not use Randy electric if this is truly how they conduct their business.
