    Called and was greeted with a hello. No business name or anything. I had to ask if it was jims electric. Then I got connected with a lazy electrician who had zero interest in helping me out, even though he more than likely could have very easily. I wouldn't call this place if it was an emergency and they were the only electrician around. I'd rather be electrocuted.

    I strongly encourage anyone in the Brainerd lakes area to use any other electrician. It’s a total hassle getting on the schedule, getting the work completed correctly and getting the billing corrected. If you like wasting time and being grossly overcharged go nuts. We’ve used them for many, many years and are now done.

    I had Jim's do some work for my company so it wasn't normal 110v household work, at first I wasn't happy with the work they did, and I take part of the blame as I wasn't around when the work was done. After talking with management their they say my point of view and made things right. It is the mark of a good man (and a good company) to admit and correct mistakes.
