  Steve from Horton Plumbing came out to assess the problem with our sump pump and determined it had failed and needed to be replaced - it was 13 years old. Given the enormous amount of water that our back up-sump pump was using, he immediately went back to his office to secure a replacement and came back and installed it. The quickness and efficiency of the installation was exactly what we needed to eliminate the water waste issue that we recently discovered was a problem. We also researched and determined that the pricing for an upgraded unit was on the lower mid range for replacement of sump pumps. We appreciate the professionalism and quickness of both Steve and Horton Plumbing! .

  BEYOND PHENOMENAL WORK AND VERY PROFESSIONAL CREW. On Christmas Eve (12/24/25), my husband came home from the hospital after triple bypass open heart surgery. On Christmas Day, after attempting to wash his clothes, our sewer line backed up in the basement. We could not shower, wash dishes or clothes while only having one small bathroom to use. Horton came out immediately the next day and it was determined our sewer line (made of cast iron) under the basement had collapsed. They moved very quickly, including having a restoration team out here the same day. Keeping in mind, it was during the holiday time period, they were able to remove all piping under the basement (which included cracking up the cement) and replaced the cast iron piping with PVC piping. Within 2 days, the job was complete. Jason came out first with the estimate....he is awesome. Huge thank you to Sean, Marcus and Woody who were the team that worked so very hard. Your professionalism and expertise made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. You kept the workspace clean and it is very clear to us you take pride in your work as it shows in every detail. Thanks to you, everything is flowing smoothly again (no more clogged drains)! Please pass along our sincere appreciation to the entire crew....you guys are real MVP's! We will highly recommend Horton Plumbing to everyone in the future. Lori & Russ B.

  Our sump pump gave out during a huge rainstorm here in December. We had water backing up in the basement. Horton sent Steve out same day we noticed the sump pump wasn’t working and he was able to quickly diagnose it and install a much better sump pump for us. As soon as it was installed it started draining and we were all set. Steve was professional, thoughtful, and clearly explained all the available options to us.

  I thought we had a problem with our hot water heater leaking, but it turns out we had a blockage in the main going from the house to the road. Steve and Woody found the problem and scheduled another person to come out and snake the main and check it out with a camera. Steve and Woody also found a leak in the faucets to the laundry tub and replaced the faucets and installed new shut-off valves to the tub, the washer and both outside faucets. We should be good to go for a long time now. Steve and Woody were great and I would highly recommend Horton Plumbing to everyone I know.
