  Adams Heating & Cooling has done an annual furnace check up for us for years – – maybe that’s why our last furnace made it 21 years before dying. (“Try and repair it first, and save the customer some money,” as they say in their commercial.) When we needed a new furnace, there was no question where we would turn for our next one. The Adams installation team – – Mike and Dan – – were knowledgeable, efficient, considerate of our home, and cleaned up after they finished (Everyone says they will, but not everyone does.) We love that it is a family owned, local, small (but mighty and growing) business.

  Dan and Mike did a great job installing furnace and air conditioner. They were polite and professional, answered all my questions, and left the furnace area clean and neat. I would recommend Adams Heating and Cooling to anyone who is looking for new HVAC installations and for maintenance. (Stoffer did my annual inspection, always polite and professional).

  Scam alert!! I had Adam's out because I had no heat. The technician that came out wasn't there for very long, he said I needed a new control board which he didn't have, also he claimed the heat exchanger was cracked and they wouldn't even work on it because of the risk of carbon monoxide. (He had pictures on his phone of someone's heat exchanger, but it wasn't mine.) The only thing he wanted to do was sell me a brand new furnace. I called my current furnace company and found out that the heat exchanger was still under warranty so I called Adam's back to see if they could fix it, of course then suddenly they say they wouldn't be able to (big red flag)even though my furnace company said any technician could do it, if they don't work on my furnace why did they charge me $119 fee for coming to my house and act as though they were checking my furnace out. I called another well known company and they checked my furnace out thoroughly and there was NO crack in the heat exchanger. I replaced the control board and it works perfectly fine with no carbon monoxide issues. Needless to say I will never call Adam's again and when I do replace my furnace it surely won't be from them. I usually like to support small businesses, but I know now that this isn't one of them that should be supported. It's not good business to scam people just because you can and word of mouth definitely travels.

  Dan and Mike did a fantastic job. They were professional, courteous and super thorough. Not only did they install our new furnace but found an issue with the PVC venting outdoors that was causing carbon monoxide to enter our home. They fixed that, replaced our thermostat with a new wifi one and walked us through how to use it. I would recommend these guys and Adams in general to anyone in need of HVAC work. A+ all around, thanks guys!

  Installation and service is satisfactory, but the new Daiken system is louder. Particularly the furnace after the AC was installed, which Adams didn’t tell us would happen. It sounds like a helicopter is running in our home. When questioned why the new system is louder, Adams told us because there is more air flow. Our old system was not noisy and the air flow still seems to be the same.
