  If it was possible to give them no stars I would. Do not use this company. I wish I knew who IKEA’s installer was before I purchased a countertop through them but I trusted IKEA’s reputation, big mistake. Had I read the reviews for Preferred Marble I never would have purchased through IKEA. Preferred Marble’s installer failed to properly line up the seam and then lied to my wife and said it was normal. It took over a week to get someone from preferred to even look at the situation and his initial suggestions clearly indicated that they did not take the situation seriously; suggesting placing something on the seam and being thankful that there isn’t more natural light in the room making it less noticeable are laughable solutions. The guys they sent out also was completely unaware of what material the countertop was even made of. It has required multiple emails, including adding IKEA customer resolution team on the communications to get any kind of response. Do not use this installer no matter how great the material they have may be there are plenty of better installers out there that can get you the same stone without the headaches. Both IKEA and Caesarstone would be wise to distance themselves from any affiliation with Preferred Marble.

  This company is a contractor hired by IKEA to install quartz counter top. It seems granite is out of favor and quartz becomes more popular. The company sent a templator to draw a template. It took a few hours to get everything measured. Make sure you removed your old counter top before the templator comes in. The templator gave us some tips to prepare for the installation. The installation was scheduled about 10 business days later as they promised. On installation date, two guys carried on the work and finished in a hour and a half. They had to trim the counter top to fit the wall.The new counter top in kitchen and master bathroom really upgrade our 25 yr old home to a new level. The 30 mm thickness seems a little bit thin though. It's the owner's responsibility to connect plumbing for the sinks. Overall good product and smooth measuring and installation process. The only complaint is the customer service. I and my wife called them a few times. The lady sounds quite pissed somehow and transferred us to Kristen. We are your customers and literally feed you, don't we? Why are you so impatient and impolite?
