- JCJennifer CDec 31, 20251.0Would NOT recommend. This company installed an appliance for my friend. When there was an issue and the appliance wouldn’t run less than 48 hours later, the store was unsupportive and dismissive of the issue. Any company who attacks or blames a customer in their reviews to justify their actions and poor service is not professional. I will be encouraging friends and family to seek services anywhere else. *update to address company below. Another technician from another company came out and resolved the wiring which hadn’t been tightened properly in less than 30 minutes. The oven is now working well and further goes to show that it was in fact not a manufacturer/appliance issue but poor installation. I wish others luck with their experiences.
- MLMichael LeViseurDec 27, 20251.0Ace Handyman Service did everything wrong they possibly could to install my microwave/oven combination. I provided a picture of what needed to be done and the exact model that needed to be installed. They sent out 1 man to do a 2-man the job and the job proceeded to take almost 7 hours (costing me more money). The gentleman that came had to make 2 trips back to Ace for materials, when if they looked at all the information I provided, the job could’ve been refused (which I would’ve been ok with) or at least came with the correct supplies or man power necessary for the job. Management openly admitted “they shouldn’t have taken the job” and we agreed upon a small refund. Christmas Eve I went to use the oven and THE BEST PART… the BRAND NEW OVEN DOESN’T WORK and when we originally told “we guarantee our work for a year” and when we presented the issue we were told “You need to contact the manufacturer”. I am now in the process of hiring a new contractor and refuting the charge entirely from our credit card company. The local store is a great and reliable place but DO NOT USE ACE HANDYMAN SERVICES TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB.

I got on their schedule quickly and even moved up thanks to a cancellation. Their communication is excellent—texts to confirm the appointment and a heads-up with the tech’s name and photo so you know who’s coming. I especially want to shout out Geno. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and explained the issue clearly with helpful next steps. The squeak isn’t fully resolved, but that’s no fault of Ace—they made the repairs they could and gave me a reasonable diagnosis and quote for the rest. I decided not to move forward with the fix for now, but I’d absolutely recommend Ace—and especially Geno—to anyone who needs an extra hand.

We will come out for a free estimate if it is work that we are capable of and we are not booked too far out.
