TERRIBLE! Do not hire this company from the Columbia/Baltimore location. I reserved a portable toilet a month and a half before my event. The unit was delivered three days prior. The delivery man arrived and placed the porto potty in front of the house where it was not supposed to go. The party was in the backyard. He told me that he did not bring a hand truck, and was not able to move the porto potty to the back of the house where the event was taking place. Since we could not leave a portable toilet on the front lawn of the house we asked that he put it back on his truck and come back when he has a dolly to move it to the requested location in the yard. We were told that he would return the next day with the necessary equipment to move it. They never showed up. We called the company multiple times and no one would answer. They refused to return the money that we paid. Terrible customer service and response. The women we spoke to was rude. Why would they think that leaving a portable toilet in the front yard would be acceptable? This is not a construction site. It is a private home in a neighborhood. I would call Portable Restrooms Solutions in Baltimore if you need this service. Excellent everything! Trustworthy, great customer service, etc....

Used this company for a friends wedding. Quick on the response time. Made sure units were stocked and cleaned. Hand wash stations were refilled frequently. Odor at a bare minimum. I’d use them again

I would give zero stars if possible. Most annoying company. The house sold and I called and cancelled services in January 2022. The contract had been paid through June 2022. I had cancelled services in January - when I received an invoice in July for July services I let them know I had sold the property in January and to call new owners. They still charged me and are harassing me about paying July invoice as they never cancelled the services in January and have no record of it.

STAY AWAY from this company. The google reviews were right. Hours of time spent on the phone getting the run around. Was promised delivery date on a Thursday, waited at the house for 12 hours since I was told “ sun up to sun down for delivery” all for nothing ! No call no show. I call back to ask why wasn’t my porta potty dropped off and was told they had the wrong address in the system TO A COMPLETE DIFFERENT STATE, I never even mentioned this address as it’s not where I live. I even confirmed my address when placing the order several times. Keep in mind every time I call I’m on the phone for 45min plus, no one has time to deal with that. After several phone calls and trying to find another porta potty company I was told they could get the porta potty at my house the day of my party, Saturday. I said ok great. 30min later I’m told they can’t guarantee that any longer and it would probably arrive Sunday. I canceled my order, worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my life wasting hours of my life trying to get a porta potty! Not to even get one!! Now I had to spend money to have a family member wait at the house for 12 hours while I was at work waiting for delivery that never came. I was charged for something that never came. Not to mention I had to pay EXTRA with another porta potty company for immediate delivery which I understand it’s not their fault (which has provided me excellent customer service and keeps me updated unlike this company). I had to fork out hundreds of dollars that was WASTED because I was screwed by this company. If I would have had the thing delivered at the day promised none of this would have happened. Even a simple phone call would have gone a long way. Stay away from this place, I’m still trying to get my refund and thats even a hassle!! It’s been three days since I requested it and I’m still dealing with it today. I almost feel like I’m being scammed.

Frequently Asked Questions About United Site Services

What are the guidelines for A.D.A. restrooms?

United Site Services offers portable wheelchair accessible restrooms that are A.D.A. compliant for use on a construction site, commercial area, or special event in some areas. Where available, our A.D.A. units are large enough and contain the proper elements to meet the standards that have been outlined by the 'Americans with Disabilities Act'. Specifically, the statute states that for single user portable toilets clustered at a single location, at least 5% but no less than one toilet unit shall be installed at each cluster whenever typical inaccessible units are provided. Accessible units shall also be identified by the International Symbol of Accessibility. The exception is that if portable toilet units are used exclusively by construction personnel who do not require the use of an A.D.A. unit, you are not required to comply with this statute. (Federal Register/Vol. 56, No. 144/July 26, 1991/Rules and Regulations/4.1.2 Accessible Site and Exterior Facilities: New Construction). For the complete set of A.D.A. guidelines relating to portable restrooms, please contact our office or view our Regulations page.

How much does it cost to rent a Porta Potty?

There are a few factors to consider that can affect the total Porta Potty rental price. What is the length of my event, hours, days, weeks, months? The length of time the unit will actually be in use directly affects how many toilets you might need to order. Weekend event portable toilets and sinks are typically delivered on a weekday leading up to the event and picked up on a weekday following the event. Weekend delivery, service or pickup is available at an additional charge. Upgrades, like flushing toilet restrooms or restrooms with hand wash sinks will be at a higher rental rate than basic Porta Potty rentals. A.D.A. accessible restrooms might be required for your public event, large or small. The standards that have been outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act state that for single user portable toilets clustered at a single location, at least 5% but no less than one A.D.A. accessible portable toilet shall be provided at each cluster. If you are on a construction job site, you will need to follow A.N.S.I. restroom requirements for the number of toilets needed on site.
