TERRIBLE! Do not hire this company from the Columbia/Baltimore location. I reserved a portable toilet a month and a half before my event. The unit was delivered three days prior. The delivery man arrived and placed the porto potty in front of the house where it was not supposed to go. The party was in the backyard. He told me that he did not bring a hand truck, and was not able to move the porto potty to the back of the house where the event was taking place. Since we could not leave a portable toilet on the front lawn of the house we asked that he put it back on his truck and come back when he has a dolly to move it to the requested location in the yard. We were told that he would return the next day with the necessary equipment to move it. They never showed up. We called the company multiple times and no one would answer. They refused to return the money that we paid. Terrible customer service and response. The women we spoke to was rude. Why would they think that leaving a portable toilet in the front yard would be acceptable? This is not a construction site. It is a private home in a neighborhood.
I would call Portable Restrooms Solutions in Baltimore if you need this service. Excellent everything! Trustworthy, great customer service, etc....

Would give 0 stars if I could.
Absolutely awful company to deal with. We are forced to use them through our building provider and they frequently miss our water tank fill up.
Their customer service is pleasant but supremely ineffective. Today is the second time in a month where they've missed a water tank fill up. We have no bathroom or running water option without them.
If a customer service rep says they'll call you back just assume they will not and call again. I have never received a call back no matter how many times they promise to do so.

Rented a few units for an event and the customer service was excellent, the driver came out and was friendly and even gave me a free case of toilet paper. I would recommend for portable units.

Absolutely unprofessional company who would get 0 stars if possible. Stay away. We spent thousands of dollars for a pedestrian fence rental for a fundraising event held in Annapolis. The fence was a requirement from security as we serve alcohol and are in a public location. They failed to deliver the fence and were not accommodating with our many calls the morning of the event leading up to our general admission open. This is the first year we’ve had an issue, but it’s the first year we went with this company to provide us fencing. Would absolutely recommend everyone look elsewhere. Their failure to provide a service we paid for in advance could’ve potentially cost us the event and all future events if we hadn’t been able to create a last minute makeshift fence with the help of our security contractor. Zero stars.
Frequently Asked Questions About United Site Services
What are the guidelines for A.D.A. restrooms?
United Site Services offers portable wheelchair accessible restrooms that are A.D.A. compliant for use on a construction site, commercial area, or special event in some areas. Where available, our A.D.A. units are large enough and contain the proper elements to meet the standards that have been outlined by the 'Americans with Disabilities Act'.
Specifically, the statute states that for single user portable toilets clustered at a single location, at least 5% but no less than one toilet unit shall be installed at each cluster whenever typical inaccessible units are provided. Accessible units shall also be identified by the International Symbol of Accessibility. The exception is that if portable toilet units are used exclusively by construction personnel who do not require the use of an A.D.A. unit, you are not required to comply with this statute. (Federal Register/Vol. 56, No. 144/July 26, 1991/Rules and Regulations/4.1.2 Accessible Site and Exterior Facilities: New Construction). For the complete set of A.D.A. guidelines relating to portable restrooms, please contact our office or view our Regulations page.
How much does it cost to rent a Porta Potty?
There are a few factors to consider that can affect the total Porta Potty rental price. What is the length of my event, hours, days, weeks, months? The length of time the unit will actually be in use directly affects how many toilets you might need to order. Weekend event portable toilets and sinks are typically delivered on a weekday leading up to the event and picked up on a weekday following the event. Weekend delivery, service or pickup is available at an additional charge. Upgrades, like flushing toilet restrooms or restrooms with hand wash sinks will be at a higher rental rate than basic Porta Potty rentals. A.D.A. accessible restrooms might be required for your public event, large or small. The standards that have been outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act state that for single user portable toilets clustered at a single location, at least 5% but no less than one A.D.A. accessible portable toilet shall be provided at each cluster. If you are on a construction job site, you will need to follow A.N.S.I. restroom requirements for the number of toilets needed on site.
How far in advance should I reserve a portable toilet?
Although we advise that you reserve your portable toilet rental as far in advance as you are comfortable, general rule of thumb would be to book your Porta Potty rental at least one week in advance. During peak times of the year, particularly in warmer months, inventory of portable restrooms, restroom trailers or temporary fencing may be limited. The larger the project or event, the more lead time is advised to ensure we have the chance to properly evaluate your needs, assign rental assets and deploy the resources to your site in a timely fashion.
