- CRCharles Ginsberg, Boston Area RealtorJul 21, 20195.0I have used home serve for my home heating system, gas burner forced hot water radiators, for many years and found their service to be excellent. over the years i have had them come out for service 7 times and each time they fixed the issue at no cost to me. included in the contract is a free yearly tuneup service. for a plumber to come out and do that would be a couple of hundred dollars which is a bit less than my 1 year cost with home serve. i even use them for my 4 unit building with 4 heating systems. and you can cancel anytime. If you expect them to cover some of the most costly parts in a heating system they do not but then again that is usually a major problem with your heating system
