  I recently had them out to look at my chimney, which had shifted and started to pull away from the house as well as a gap in my living room behind the mantel and along the sides of the fireplace. They looked at everything inside and out and gave me estimates on fixing these things. They arrived promptly, did a great job and I thought it was a fair price. I won't hesitate to call again if the need arises. Thank you

  After a squirrel traversed down our chimney two weeks ago, I called Advance Chimney for an estimate to replace the chimney cap and install a damper that had been removed prior to our purchasing our home many years ago in favor of a wood stove. We removed the wood stove shortly after buying our house and never installed a damper. Bill and Jim came out and gave us aa great price to do the entire job including pointing the inside of the fireplace which had a good amount of the cement deteriorating. To our surprise, they started work right away after we agreed on the extremely reasonable price. The job was finished within an hour and a half with both gentlemen cleaning as they went. We cannot express enough how impressed we were with the communication, professionalism, and quality work. Thank you for everything!! Christine and Mark Richards

  I needed a relatively small and specific job done that other fireplace companies didn’t want to take on since it didn’t involve buying a fireplace or other services from them. I found Advance Chimney, and they guided me through providing some photos which allowed them to give a remote estimate. They arrived promptly after and got the job done. They encountered an issue with how the original chimney had been constructed and communicated it with me even after hours so there wouldn’t be a hold up. If I needed chimney or fireplace work again they would be the first ones I’d go to. Courteous people and great communication.

  I am not satisfied with the service received. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to clean the chimney bottom-to-top with a brush and vacuum. I left them alone to complete their work and later paid them their fee. They left an invoice with commentary about the chimney needing a cap, needing to be raised higher, needing a pointing repair and such, all from looking up from the ground. They left and I proceeded to replumb my wood stove. I opened the clean-out at the bottom of the chimney and soot came pouring out. I called their office the next day and was told that cleaning the clean-out was an extra charge. How is it possible for the crew to not empty the clean out when they filled it in the first place???? They were all concerned about safety and fire but they left a "bomb" behind. I am working on my second 5-gallon bucket with a lot more to go. Check a be sure you are getting what you pay for. I have doubts about the chimney cleaning itself now?????
