  My HVAC stopped working and gad numerous companies in the Boston area look at it but they all seemed to be try to take advantage of the situation. However, working with Nick and Brian and every member of that team, they made the impossible possible. In every area, the were professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of the unit. I rarely give positive reviews but these guys took their work to the next level. I’m already looking at work that will need to be done in my other unit. As long as I am in this city, I will be a client! I recommend them 1000% great work and best price!

  I clearly explained my problem prior to making an appointment. Technician came out to literally just hear me say it (and pay a $49 fee to do so). I fully understand that a technician can come out and the issue is different or add ons are needed. In those situations it's acceptable to tell a customer they're not prepared and will need to come back again but if you're coming out, you should at least be prepared to deal with the problem posed. Of course, I was told they could help me and someone would call within the day to reschedule. Day comes and goes. And when I called yesterday I was told they're working on staffing and would call me that day. No call and i stupidly paid a hefty deposit and even agree to an annual maintenance program. This company was referred by someone I know but what a disappointment.

  The plumbers who came out today were excellent — extremely friendly, professional, and respectful of our home (and our somewhat challenging dog!). They were kind and courteous throughout, and they did fix our broken toilet efficiently. That said, the pricing from Boston Standard is shockingly high — more than double what smaller, local plumbing businesses charge for comparable work. We went ahead with the repair because we needed the toilet fixed, but the cost was truly excessive. In short: great technicians, but prices that feel unreasonably inflated. We won’t be using Boston Standard again.

  We had an HVAC system installed that included an air handler with an outdoor heat pump and two indoor heads connected to a mini split heat pump. Initially, one of the indoor heads didn’t function properly, but the technician quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced it with a compatible unit. After that, the entire mini split system worked flawlessly. The technician was thorough and professional, ensuring the whole setup was operational before wrapping up. We really appreciate the effort and attention to detail. One small suggestion: if a cap were placed in the air handler’s open hole to prevent potential water leaks, the installation would be absolutely perfect. Overall, very satisfied with the service and outcome.

  As of father of two boys, one ten and the other just 9 months when my 23 year old heat system finally crashed on me; I needed a company to come in right away and put in a new heating system before the winter showed up. I worked with a Carlos Teixeira, Ben Strolsky and James Gabriel and their crew of plumbers and electricians. Not only were they excellent to work with but also polite and able to answer all my questions. The team wasn't just there to install a boiler and a water heater; they were there to put me and my family at ease. I felt comfortable talking to them and as the job ended, I noticed that they do more than just plumbing so I will certainly use their services again; and recommend them to anybody who asked me for a dependable company that can help with all your homeowner needs.
