  The plumber showed up today to fix a clog in pipe that leads to my kitchen disposal. Said he'd have to cut parts out, replace them—total cost is around fourteen hundred dollars. I asked if cleaning might work. And he said: - charge will be over four hundred just to try, and then if it does not work another fourteen hundred more to fix it. I gave him sixty-nine for the visit and sent him off. One hour later, another guy from a different company came over. He even think a minute what approach to use and cleaned the clog perfectly for two hundred twenty-five bucks. Nobody should ever hire Sila, that company—total rip-off.

  New gas furnace and air conditioner installed yesterday, less than 24 hours after furnace failed. Sila's service was extraordinary. The problems with the furnace were quickly determined and my options fully explained. The install technicians, Jorge Rosario and Michael Huynh, were on time, professional and highly trained. I can't recommend Sila more highly.

  BUYER BEWARE…Aggressive Sales, Unethical And Overpriced and most IMPORTANTLY Unsafe!!! Sila Hanover!! I was a repeat customer and unknowingly overspent on a new HVAC system 2 years ago after they told me my current system was “unsafe” …didnt think much about it until fast forward on 12/4/2025 I had a scheduled Sila tune up of my 2nd older unit that had been running fine for $99.00…the tech had a very aggressive sales pitch which I declined as unit was still running and he said it was ok but old. They had my business I was just delaying until the unit failed!!! however later that night, only hours after the tech inspected and tuned up my unit, the heating system failed to shut off and kept pumping out heat even after I shut the thermostat off…I called Sila and explained the situation to them..that a tech had only hours before serviced my unit, and they would not come out to my house…I was on the phone explaining to them that I felt it was unsafe as my thermostat was off yet the heat was still pumping out and the house was reading 85 degrees. They would not come out and finally explained that I should just use the kill switch and shut all heat down and they would be out the next day…IT was Only 30 degrees out!!! Well the tech showed the next day and couldnt explain how but that two wires had melted in the unit coincidentally hours after their tech was “doing a tune up”…I saw the two melted wires which definitely would have caused a fire if I left the unit running as they originally told me because they couldn't come out. This tech said he could replace the wires but system was unsafe and I needed to buy a new system for a great low price of $25,000!!! sounded familiar to the same aggressive fraudulent sales pitch I had gotten from Sila in the past…I kicked them out of my house and found a local guy that repaired my system for 200 dollars and stated he would replace system when time was right for only $9000…heat has been working fine and putting off new system until needed!!! I 100% believe they set my system up to fail or at the very least their incompetence caused it to fail and then they hit me with the unsafe line and a big price on a new system…Do Not Trust Sila !!!!
