- LLLaurenNov 6, 20251.0Sila installed my HVAC in July 2023. There was a manufacturing defect with a Whelan product inside that Sila sold to me. The issue caused water damage in July 2025 due to the humidity. Another company came out to fix the issue and identified the issue directly with Whelan resulting in a $1,000+ bill. Gage the General Manager at Sila is extremely unprofessional, has shifted the blame onto the company that fixed the issue (making it my responsibility to pay the large bill). The other company has NO involvement anymore. Gage the Boston General Manager and the Boston office have been extremely unhelpful since July 2025 with my Sila warranty claim, and not returning phone calls or replying to emails. DO NOT go with Sila to install your HVAC.
