The initial meeting with the salesman Trent Gray was pleasant but as I found out he was amazingly uninformed about the actual construction process of thier patio covers, he promised specifications that I requested could be done only to find out after they had my money and had deposited it that many of them could not be honored. After that the pleasantries disappeared so much so that I had to cancel the patio cover after months of planning, I found out after the owner of Cool-Vue (Dean) appeared at my home unannounced to go over the things that were promised but could not be done by them that those construction cancelations reasons were untrue after calling the manufacturer of the patio materials. I mistakenly went forward with an order for some storm shutters that were also ordered at this time that took forever to be done that no one had informed the shutter installation crew, which was one guy of the installation specs I had requested. I literally had to go out and work with the installer to put the shutters up, when I informed the co. of this they really gave me the impression that they could really careless and just wanted to make sure I had the correct address to pay them. There were many more unexceptable details to this but the bottom line (beware) as to what your getting and how Cool-Vue does thing because they rely on people being uninformed as to how these job could and should be done! Get as many bids as you can and ask questions as to how it should be done!!!!!
